Girly Birthday Card

It's Tracey here to share this girly card I created for my niece featuring gorgeous Hand-dyed Silk and White Metallic String from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store. Every girl loves glitter, butterflies and of course a pretty bow.

Really Reasonable Ribbon Products

Tips and Techniques:

Wrapped Ribbon ~ This hand-dyed silk Bonnie carries in the RRR Store is just gorgeous and comes in a wide variety of colors. I wrapped it around the front of the card, then wrapped Iridescent Metallic White String over top, crossing as I wrapped, then finished by tying the string into a bow. This string is so sparkly and gorgeous. I've already had to order more!!

Fussy Cutting ~ I fussy cut two flowers from the patterned paper and then cut in towards the center all around creating a fringe effect and layered the smaller flower over the larger. I also fussy cut the stem and leaves.

Pearl Accents ~ . . . added for some girly bling.

I also fussy cut the floral spray and this glittered butterfly. The silk ribbon and embellishments are adhered with Scor-Tape

I'll be sharing my Twine Flower Tutorial in my next RRR Post,
so be sure to watch for it.

I hope you are enjoying your summer and find time to create!!

♥♥♥Easter Blessings ♥♥♥ Candy Container

Hello everyone, Cheryl here with a recycled Laughing Cow decorated container for Easter. On my Treat container I used  ♥♥♥Really Reasonable Ribbon's Beautiful Satin's ♥♥♥.

I used the Diamond Satin Tulip that is also in the March Ribbon Kit. I LOVE this beautiful ribbon and the color is soo pretty!!!! I also used some Pink 3/8"Satin with Iridescent Edge Pink for the Bunny Bow and for around the outside edges of my container.

 ♥♥♥How to ♥♥♥
I took a Laughing Cow empty cheese container(the ones that you find at the grocery store) and painted it using white Paint and some Creative Inspiration Paint in PINK too mixed in. I painted the outside of the entire container and set aside to dry. Next I took some Circle /Scalloped Circle Spellbinders and cut my sizes for the top and inside layering.

I glued the pieces on and then added my CottageCutz/Peachy Keen Easter Basket Bunny, CottageCutz Filigree Egg, Picket Border Fence. All are glued on except the Bunny and the cloud. I used Foam Squares to attach them. The cloud was a cutout from MLS, and I stamped a SU! sentiment on it. Super easy to make. All the Pearls are from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and they are glued on the egg!

Here is a photo showing the container before and after.

It measures 4" around, and is 3/4" high on the inside.
I think its perfect for holding jelly beans, mini choc eggs, mini chocolate bars the ones that are wrapped, you could maybe do 2 layers of those.
♥♥♥ I think these are a perfect gift idea for Easter ♥♥♥
 And SUPER Fun & Cute!!!

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!!!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

A Wish for Peace

Hello, friends.  I hope your preparations for the holidays are going smoothly.  It's going to be a quiet Christmas for hubbie and me, which, it turns out, will be OK for us. As I'm sure it is for you, my thoughts and feelings often influence my art and craft.

This holiday, I'm wishing and praying for peace in the world and healing for all those that suffer.  Using 1/2 in. Natural Crochet Lace from the Really Reasonable Ribbon shop helped me create this quiet, comforting card project.

I'll be seeing you back here on the RRR blog in the new year.  Until then, I wish you all the best this holiday season.
