Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

Hello, friends.  It's Karen posting today.  All of us Really Reasonable Ribbon are hoping that you'll "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas", and we know that if you treat yourself to some new ribbons, twines, strings, laces, Seam Binding or ANY of the fabulous products they carry; it's SURE to be merry.  I always have SO much fun when I create a card adorned with some of their GORGEOUS trims.
I used some basic red cardstock and then a piece of corrugated cardboard to create the base.  I cut the frame using a Scalloped Frame Die-Cut from Taylored Expressions.  In the center of the frame, I used a piece of white watercolor paper that I rubbed with Vintage Photo Oxide Ink to distress.  I used a sentiment stamp from Paper Sweeties.  I used lots of Scor-Tape to secure everything in place securely.  It's a FABULOUS Adhesive.
I added a few die-cut snowflakes and I placed a White Flatback Pearl Accent in the center of each one.   There are so many great Embellishments in the RRR Store.  The gorgeous ribbon I used on this card is a May Arts canvas trim.  I used more of the wonderful Scor-Tape to securely attach the trim to my card.  I also tied some Red & White Plaid Houndstooth Ribbon into the pretty bow.
No matter what kind of card or project you're making, Really Reasonable Ribbon is sure to have the perfect trims, Adhesives, Headband/Hair Accessories, Embellishments, Flowers and more to help you.  There's also lots of great inspiration on the RRR Blog, special information about sales and promotions, and our FUN Blog Hop on the 13th of every month.  We hope that you'll stop by often.  Have a merry and creative week.

Our Hearts Are Huge

Welcome by today, everyone!  I'm glad you've found your way here to take quick peek at a FUN card I created for Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I know that I say this a lot, but I always LOVE playing with all the sweet products found at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Of course, they carry just about every variety of ribbon, lace, twine, and spooled trim; but they also carry SO many other wonderful things.  I think I loaded a lot of them onto today's card.

I used a variety of different patterned papers on my card from scrap pieces (or snippets as some like to call them) and pieced everything together securing them with strips of Scor-Tape to create my paper base.  I used a small chipboard frame and a sticker sentiment that I adorned with a Pale Pink Open Rose and a Royal Blue Open Rose.  I used additional stickers here and there, including the heart-shaped one that's hanging from a Rusty Pear-Shaped Safety Pin.

At the top left, you'll find another floral sticker that's backed with 3-D Foam Squares and has several Double Head Stamens tucked above and below it.  I love how the Double Head Stamens poke out and provide a fun spray of color.  I also tucked some bundled Pink Burlap String underneath that same floral sticker, and there are a few snippets from a Red Berry Bead Cluster tucked into this sweet blossom.
I did some machine stitching, and I added some cute May Arts ribbon tabs to the side of my card including a piece of 1.5" Black Gingham.  I took this flat side view photo because I just adore all those beautiful layers of paper, ribbon and all things pretty.  If there's anything I forgot to mention that you're curious about, just leave me a comment and I'll let you know what I used.
There are SO many great products at Really Reasonable Ribbon, and you're always sure to find something perfect for your next project.  We hope you'll visit us often.

Blessings,
Karen

Thank You card for Bonnie and the Really Reasonable Ribbon Design Team

Welcome back Really Reasonable Ribbon bloggers and this will be my last card for Really Reasonable Ribbon blog and challenges at this time. I have a grandson  born in May and I will be babysitting him from now on while my daughter returns back to work.  Therefore, I will be spending most of my time with him and very little time for awhile in my craft room until he gets about 6 months older and beginning to take good naps since now he only takes baby power naps during the day, anywhere from 10 minutes up to 40 minutes.

I want to thank Bonnie and the wonderful designers on this team for their fantastic support and I learned so much from all of you and thoroughly enjoyed our discussions. I regret leaving since I loved everything about what we did along with the super great customer service, support and care from Bonnie and the team.  It was also great working with gorgeous ribbon and flowers from the Really Reasonable Ribbon store.  I recommend RRR to anyone who loves working with ribbon and looking to be on a design team, this is a number one place to be.

Also, the bloggers who put their cards on the blogs or made a comment on my cards, I want to especially thank you for all that you do.

But back to my card.  The May Art ribbons such as the May Arts Silky Rust Red ribbon are always gorgeous on cards and projects.  I used the Zutter Bow It All bow maker to make this double layered bow and attached it with the 1" Scor-Tape.  I used the wonderful instructions by Bonnie Garby's You-Tube HERE that explains how to make a double layered double bow but just go around the pegs once instead of twice.  I added a pearl brad to the center of the bow and attached it to my card

Other supplies used:
Sue Wilson Designs-Grace
Sue Wilson Designs-Noble Pierce Rectangle
3mm flat back string pearls
Sue Wilson Designs - Rambling Rose embossing folder
Bazzill card stock
Whimsy Stamp - Rowan

Also, on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog, a exciting challenge is going on right now with ribbon or trim besides see daily designers' cards and projects using Really Reasonable Ribbon variety of gorgeous ribbons for all of your projects and cards.    Come join the fun and post your card on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge and you might become one of the next winners.   Also, come visit us on Really Reasonable Ribbon Facebook but definitely check out the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store to get those fall, Thanksgiving and Christmas projects and cards done ahead of time.

Thank you again!

So Very Special

One thing I can say for sure about Really Reasonable Ribbon's products is that they are "SO VERY SPECIAL".  Perhaps that's why I can't resist them. I absolutely LOVE all their wonderful patterned ribbons, laces, twines, trims, flowers and accessories.  There's just no end to the cuteness and the creativity they allow.  So, once again I pulled them out to create a sweet Birthday Card for a special little someone.
I used some patterned papers that I layered and machine stitched.  I also added lots of great stickers, a Tim Holtz journalling tag, and then embellished the card with more of Really Reasonable Ribbon's WONDERFUL ribbons to add the perfect finishing touches.  Around the chipboard gifts, I wrapped some Metallic Gold String which I think really makes your cards sparkle with happiness.  Then, I ran a length of Yellow Micro Gingham up the card, and also tied a double bow with it in the upper left section of my card.  Underneath the Yellow Micro Yellow Ribbon, I tied a sweet knot using the lovely May Arts Burlap Center Stitch in Pink.  In the center of that lovely bow, I placed a (4) brad for a Birthday Girl who is turning 4 years old.  Don't you just LOVE Really Reasonable Ribbon?  If you've never stopped by this AMAZING ribbon shop, I encourage you to stop by and do some shopping.  You will absolutely LOVE everything you see!
There's lots of great inspiration every day on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog, and there's also a super fun CHALLENGE where you can play along.  We love having you visit and join us.  Thanks so much for stopping by to take a peek.

Thank You Card

Welcome to today's Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Post.  It's Karen here today to share a sweet Thank You card I created using LOTS of fabulous ribbons and trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I started this card with an ivory base, and attached some pretty patterned papers.  Next, I added a length of 1.5" Natural Jute Ribbon, some Moss Green Seam Binding, some Ivory Pom Pom Trim, and the lovely Burlap With Green Center Stitch Natural Ribbon.

I even took a close-up photo of the gorgeous Really Reasonable Ribbons to clearly show you just how beautiful they are and how well they work together and accent one another.  I used a few embellishments to accent them all.  At the top, I added some of Really Reasonable Ribbon's mulberry flowers in Ivory/Pale Pink Wild Orchid Open Roses as well as some green to accent the colors on my card.  Really Reasonable Ribbon obviously sells LOTS of great ribbons and trims, but their mulberry flowers and other embellishments are also AMAZING!  You will want to check out ALL their wonderful products available in the store.  You really won't want to miss a single thing!

We hope you will pick out some new ribbons and supplies, and then come play along in our current challenge.  Thanks so much for visiting today; we really do appreciate it.  As always, you're welcome to stop by my blog, My Cup Runneth Over, to say hello.
Happy crafting!

A Sweet Hello

Hi everyone!  I hope you are all having a great week!
I have a pretty card for you today using elements from the Echo Park - Everyday Eclectic collection.

I used my Cameo to cut a couple of clouds from white cardstock....I added some glitter for a little sparkle.  I cut strips of the Chevron Striped Twill ribbon and adhered them to my card front with strips of Scor-Tape. The chevron ribbon works so well with the pattern paper.

I added a pretty button and bow from this  hemp cord.

You can read more on my blog.
Thanks for stopping by.

Handmade Kindle Case with Ribbons

Hello everyone! My name is Jinky from JinkysCrafts. It is an honor to be a Guest Blogger for Really Reasonable Ribbon. I have a new addiction these days...Ribbon Manipulation. I think ribbons are the best embellishments on any Paper Crafts.

Today, I would love to share with you this Handmade Kindle Case that was adorned with some ribbons. It was made out of fabric. The ribbon technique I used in decorating my Handmade Kindle Case was the gathering technique. It is pretty easy, all you have to do is sew a straight stitch by hand or with a sewing machine and gather the stitch and form it into a flower.

Since I am one of the Design Team Members of May Arts Ribbons, all the ribbons I used in this project are May Arts Ribbon collections of RRR.

Ribbons Used in this project:

Gathered Flower              -Fucshia Silk
Belly Band                      - Fucshia Silk, Moss Silk
Leaves                            - Leaves, Lime Green
Flower Buds                   - Sheer Ombre Lavender/ Pink
                                      - Sheer Ombre Peach/ Yellow
Ruffle Belly Band           - Sheer Ruffle Edge Fucshia

I love how the ribbons pop-out against the black background. This luxurious color combination is perfect for a stylist Kindle Case, don't you think?

I want to thank RRR for inviting me to play with their awesome ribbons this month! I have some ribbons left so please stop by my blog anytime as I am looking forward of making more ribbon projects in coming days.

Thanks a lot for stopping by. I hope you LIKE my projects and that I inspired you today! -  JINKY
