I just love love love this color palette, don't you?!!

Why not grab the April/May Ribbon Club Special Deal?!
Just $17.50 for both if you are located in the USA.

I created a 6-1/2" x 4-3/4" top fold card created with my usual layered look. My digital sentiment is my main focal point, topped with a pretty bi-color double loop bow and I added a few pretty Open Rose flowers along the bottom of the oval sentiment panel.

My card is topped off with a pretty bi-color double loop bow created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using two of the ribbons from the January Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The center of the bow is adorned with a pretty Heart Shaped Pearl Embellishment.

Let Freedom Ring

Hello, again Ribbon Friends! I am still making great use of the May Ribbon Club (Patriotic Assortment)I just cannot stop making patriotic projects! I do have loads of other ribbon, but it has been two years since I made anything for 4th of July, so this ribbon club went to my head!

I created a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" card out of red cardstock. I don't normally make cards in this orientation, but I really wanted to use the USA die cut that I found hiding in my stash!

I die cut the states outline (except for Alaska and Hawaii) from blue cardstock and very, very carefully glued it to the white panel. That thing was fragile!
I then die cut just a few states out of some scraps of collage paper and inserted them into their spots on the map. I only used the states where my husband and I have lived since our marriage. I die cut a blue frame to place around the USA die cut to keep it from "floating" on the page.

Next comes the ribbon!
I made a loopy bow out of the 3/8" Random Stars Patriotic Satin ribbon and glued it to the corner of the card. I then made another loopy bow from the Air Mail Baker's Twine. I glued the twine to the top of the ribbon. Then I needed to hide a bit of a hot glue blob...so I added a White Pearl Star to the top.
The other corner needed something, too so I added a digital sentiment, die cut into a banner shape to the upper right corner. I topped the banner with more Air Mail Baker's Twine and another White Pearl Star.

I use the Bow-it-All tool to make all my bows! So fast and easy!
I hope you have enjoyed all my patriotic creations this month!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Red White and Blue Beach Huts

Paper Rose Beach Huts Easel Card Really Reasonable Ribbon Slate Blue Wrinkled Ribbon Kathy Clement

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Can you hear the beach calling you?  It's calling to me, and I can't wait to stroll along the shore with the wind in my hair and the sand between my toes.  I love to see all the cute little beach cottages along the shoreline.  So when I found this cute beachy paper, I just had to create a little scene with them front and center.  A touch of slate blue wrinkled ribbon topped with natural burlap string is the perfect finishing touch.

TIP: Dress up the pocket on this card with a ribbon border! The Patriotic Vertical Striped Satin Ribbon on the bottom of the pocket is a near-perfect color match for those cutie pie beach houses. Topped with some vintage buttons, it makes a great design statement.

Because this is an easel card, it closes for storage and shipping.  But I thought you might like to see the details up close and personal.

I love the way the torn paper edges look like waves washing up on the shore!

The inside has two pockets.  The large pocket serves as the stopper for the easel mechanism. I tucked a little gift card wallet in here.

The smaller pocket on the top of the card holds this cute little collage bookmark.  Braided Natural Burlap String is the perfect topper, especially when you add a little flip flop charm!

If you're a beach lover like me, I hope you get to dig your toes into the sand soon!

Blooming with my Gnomies Card

Hello crafty friends and Happy Monday to you all! Today I have a super fun card I created for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the Gorgeous Ribbons & flowers. For some reason Ive been so addicted lately to making these darling gnome cards and Memorydex cards, this one happens to be a stamp, and I love him with all the flowers.

so for my card base I started with a 6" x 6" base  and then added on my layers. I love adding lots of layers, and did so here. Next I stamped up this darling gnome and colored him with copics, and then added stickles to his wings, love how he turned out. for his beard I did add some silver pencil to make the hairs, thought it would be fun. Oooo and I had used him again for the inside to hold the sign, thought that would be so cute. After I did my layers I cut out a branch for the greenery and then added several RRR flowers, I will list them all below. The ribbons I chose are the Yellow

Wait Patiently

Hello, creative friends, and thanks for stopping by the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog today as I, your creative friend Karen, share a pretty card I created for Really Reasonable Ribbon.  It's aways fun to adorn my cards with the pretty ribbons, trims, flowers and twines from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  These sweet products add so much fabulous texture and layering to my cards.
I painted my background using Lilac and Concord Oxide Inks on a white watercolor paper that I cut with Crimped Frame Die from The Greetery.  The stamped leaves and flowers are from a (retired) PTI stamp set called Petite Pots.  The stamped sentiment is from Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.  I covered my mistakes with (3) small flat sequins.
The pretty things you see on the right-hand side of my card include some Solid Black Baker's TwinePlum Baker's TwineDouble Head Stamens, and some pretty Miniature Pastel Sweetheart Blossoms.  I also tucked in some bundled Natural Burlap String which is a great "filler" for floral accents.  It's a very inexpensive trim, it comes in oodles of great colors, and it works perfectly every time.  You can find Burlap String here.
Thanks again for stopping by to say hello.  Be sure to visit Really Reasonable Ribbon and treat yourself to something new.  There are so many great options and you're sure to find the perfect accents for your next projects.  You'll always find lots of great inspiration here on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog, so be sure to visit often.
