Have I told you lately that I love you shabby cards duo by Cherry Nelson

Hello paper peeps! Cherry here on the RRR blog.  I hope all is well and you are safe and sound at home...hopefully getting some craft on?  This little thing called "paper crafts" has saved me from losing it with our current crisis.  How about you?  Since I have had more time to craft I created two cards for Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Both with that time worn shabby feel that I love so.  Both cards use Bay leaf seam binding which is my go to for a soft aqua green.

I have been getting into making my own flowers using both water color paper and floral foam. It is so relaxing and a great way to get the colors you want and I kinda dig using different types of stamens.

This card also uses lace from the store.

Here is the second card using the same ribbon....but very different. This card also uses Spiral stamens in green I used gesso to soften the color.  Another product I have been using a lot. Gesso so fun!

Well my friends that is all for me today!  Keep yourself safe!  Craft on!
XOXO, Cherry

Milestone Birthday Card Folio

Hello, Friends!  How do you feel about the color purple?  It's one of those colors that people are rarely neutral about.  You either really love it or you don't.  I've grown to really love the rich hues and saturated tones of this color.  And I used a ton of it on this vintage style milestone birthday card.

The 3/8" Grape Plaid Ribbon from the April Ribbon Club adds the perfect finishing touch to this box style card.  One of the things I love about 3/8" ribbon is that it's great for tying bows with multiple loops.  The Zutter Bow it All Tool makes this task extra easy.  I honestly don't know what I would do without it in my studio!

I love the way the ribbon picked up on the lighter shades of purple in this paper and brightened up the dark hues.

This box style pocket on the inside of the card has room for lots of treats.

When you have this much goodness stuffed inside a card, the card becomes the gift.

Milestone birthdays should be captured on film, so I created a little accordion style folio to tuck inside the pocket.

You can tie more of that pretty Grape Plaid ribbon around the photo album to hold it closed, too.

I hope I've shared some ideas and inspiration that you can use in your next crafty adventure.  Thanks for stopping by!

Cheerio,
kathy

Easter Basket Decorated with Ribbon and Flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hello everyone.  Hope you all are doing well and staying safe and healthy at this time. I wanted to share this darling basket I made for my Granddaughter for Easter using Really Reasonable Ribbon's Flowers and Beautiful Ribbons to decorate it. I love how you can use ribbons on just about anything, and RRR has the best ribbons!

The basket was made in the hoop on my sewing machine using the embroidery design from Shelly. Next,I thought, how cute it would be to use Really Reasonable Ribbons from the March assortment.  I love them all but picked the 2 yellows, delicate stitched satin & plaid yellow also the white checkerboard satin to create my bows for the sides. I then hot glued all the flowers to the bows, and added some ribbon and another flower to the candy cutie bunny.

Really Reasonable Ribbon:
Yellow Plaid Ribbon
Delicate Stitched Satin
White Checkerboard Satin
Mixed Pastels Magnolias
2-tone Aster Daisies Lilac
Mixed Pink Rose Buds

Here is a close up showing all the beautiful flowers and ribbons I used on the basket sides. Love how this turned out, and she loved it!

Hope you enjoyed my post for today! thank you so much for stopping by. Have a lovely day!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

SO Much More Than Ribbons

Hey there, everyone!  Welcome by today as I, Karen, share some sweet projects I created for Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I always enjoy my crafting time when I'm working with the gorgeous products from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  One reason for that is because there's such a wide variety of products that help adorn ymy projects.  And it's not just limited to ribbons and trims (although their collection of all things spooled is AMAZING).  There's just SO much more.
For my first project, I used a small muslin sack to create a pretty little gift bag.  I added some die-cut foliage in gold; and then bundled some Iridescent White Metallic String and Gold Metallic String.  I also added a bow that's tied with a length of Twill with Silver Center-Stitch along with some gold pearls and a pretty White Magnolia Flower.
I always love using all the gorgeous trims found at Really Reasonable Ribbon, and of course those precious Stamens I love to tuck in my floral clusters.  Stamens are just the sweetest touch; and with oodles of gorgeous color choices all at the low prize of just $2.14 per 400 pieces, they're pretty hard to resist.  Aren't they just SO pretty tucked into my ribbons and flowers?  LOVE!!
For my card, I used brown cardstock for the base and some Echo Park patterned papers and stickers that I machine stitched together.  Next, I ran some Bluebird Plaid Ribbon across my card.  I used the Bluebird Plaid Ribbon along with a length of Tangerine Plaid Ribbon to tie my pretty bow.  I added some bundled Brown Burlap String topped with Double Head Stamens, Open Roses and a Mulberry Leaf.
By the way, don't forget the visit the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog often for information about special sales and promotions.  There's always something exciting happening here at Really Reasonable Ribbon, and you won't want to miss a thing.  Thanks so much for stopping by.

Blessings,
Karen

Dear Friend All Occasion Greeting Card

Hello there friends and crafty peeps! Ginny here with an all occasion greeting card created with gorgeous trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I'm hoping to evoke some warm spring feelings with the pretty crisp green of this all occasion greeting card. Considering it was just snowing here in mid-Michigan only 2 days ago we can really use some.
I think the cacti theme is a bit different than my usual vintagy flowers but I love it anyway.

I like to create cards that can be used for any occasion. You just never know when you'll need to be ready for a Birthday, or a get well , or a thinking of you.

This pretty Chevron Striped Twill in Celery coordinates perfectly with my color scheme and it makes the bestest poofy bows!

I've added some matching flowers arranged with loopy twine bows for the perfect finishing touch.

Wishing everyone a happy and productive day : ) G

Hello, I'm in Fort Worth,Texas in my home by myself. I use the time alone to make paper crafts, as that is my passion. I especially enjoy making cards, which I did for Easter, and I make photo albums. I miss the interaction of all my friends, but I do get out and walk every day with one friend who lives nearby. The warmer weather here is helping my mental outlook. Thanks for all the beautiful inspiration from your bloggers, and the colorful ribbon assortment they used in their projects.

Now if you didn't win, don't worry!! We will be 'hopping' each month so you'll have another chance to win soon! We hope you stop by and visit our blog often.
