*NEW* September Ribbon Club Assortment at Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hi there ribbon lovers!  It's September (already!!), so we are introducing an all NEW Ribbon Club Assortment today here at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Since Autumn and Halloween are quickly approaching, why not enroll today and grab this August/September Ribbon Club Special Deal and be set for the autumn holidays!

Not a member yet?
The August and September assortments each contain 9 styles and a total of 18 yards of ribbon.  Each monthly assortment is a color or holiday themed mix.  What a fun way to build your ribbon stash and try new ribbon styles.

Just because the September assortment is Halloween themed doesn't mean all you can make is Halloween projects.

This time I made a Thank You card, but it could just as easily work for any occasion by just switching out the sentiment.  I created the background paper with Distress Inks.  They are so much fun to work with.

My bottom layer is a white mulberry paper which I think adds such a wonderful unique touch to my cards.

For a video tutorial on how I use mulberry paper on my projects, please click HERE.

My card is topped off with a pretty bi-color double-loop bow created on my Bow-it-All Tool using two of the ribbons from the September Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I topped off the center of my bow with a pretty 10mm Resin Flower embellishment.

For a video tutorial on how to create this pretty bow, please click HERE.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  For more information on the other products used on my card, please visit my Make Time to Craft Blog.  Have a crafty weekend!

Happy Labor Day!

Hi friends! Linsey here today--you may remember me from being on the team before. I took a short break to help with some family stuff and I'm really happy to be back! I thought I'd share a fun patriotic project I made that using lots of ribbons in red and white, along with some lace trims. It's a denim and ribbon USA flag and here it is in all its glory!
This project was pretty easy and I love the results. I think it would look great displayed for any patriotic holiday and it makes a nice addition to an Americana home décor. Here's how I made it...
Find an old pair of jeans or any denim fabric that you are willing to cut up. Cut a rectangle piece of denim the size you want for the "stars" portion of the flag. The stars can be stamped onto the fabric or, in my case, I used a star-shaped stencil and white acrylic paint. I found it to work well.
After it dried, I framed the denim stars portion with Natural Crochet Lace. Allow a ribbon across the top to go as far out as you want you "stripes" to be. Then, start adding strips of red and white ribbons and trims, alternating colors. Some of the ribbons and trims I used include: 3/8" Swiss Dots Grosgrain Red, 5/8" Double Faced Red Satin, 5/8" Plaid Ribbon Houndstooth Red and White, Red 3/8" Ric Rac, 1/2" White Wrinkled Ribbon, Red Chevron Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Satin Swiss Dots Ribbon Red, Delicate Stitched Satin Red, Delicate Stitched Satin White, Crosshatch on Red Satin Ribbon, Checkerboard Satin Red, Checkerboard Satin Off-White, Satin with Stitched Center Ribbon, and various White Crocheted Lace.
To adhere, you can either use a hot glue gun or double sided red tape. Of course, any other adhesive you think will work well can be used also. Just make sure it will stick for the long run, as this piece can be enjoyed for years, if properly made and stored/displayed. Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you're enjoying you Labor Day and I wish you a wonderful week! Until next time, happy crafting!

Swingin' By Triple Easel Card

Hello, Friends!  I thought I'd just swing on by today with a super cute and cheery triple easel card.

With fall peeping around the corner, the squirrels in my back yard have been hustling and bustling around stocking their pantries with acorns.  This inspired me to create a super cute triple easel card with bright cheery, colors.

I found the perfect playmate for this card in 1/2"  Orange, Fuchsia and Lavender Checkered Ribbon.

This ribbon ties the most beautiful bows!  Loopy burlap string bows match the kraft cardstock base, and lend a nice, woodsy feel to the ribbon cluster.

My hand made flowers are died to match the ribbon, but you can find some great Wild Orchard Crafts Flowers in the RRR Shop.

I used burlap string a second time to tie these cute miniature acorns on the sentiment panel.  It's just amazing how a little bit of ribbon or fiber can make an embellishment come to life.

This was my first attempt at making a triple easel card.  After a little trial and error, I came up with a method that worked well for me.  So I created a little video tutorial to share with you here today.  This is just for building the triple easel card base, not for adding the card layers or embellishments.  I hope you enjoy!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Thank you card

Hello everyone and Happy Monday to you all! today I have a special card I made for a special someone to say Thank you! Made this one using all Really Reasonable Ribbon flowers and ribbons. Love making thank you cards and using the beautiful ribbons from RRR store.

On my card for today I chose to use the beautiful Delicate Stitched(One of my many favs) in Mineral Ice color. I made two bows and set them close to each other when gluing them down. Next I placed the beautiful Chelsea Rose in pink on the green leaves, and then using other flowers I added them all. I will list them all below.

So I have to tell ya, that I had this little girl stamped up and colored in other colors, so that motivated or gave me inspiration for this one. I stamped her in club scrap black ink, and then colored her with copic markers. It was so much fun, I need to get stamping again, and use my stamps.
The thank you stamp is from Our Daily bread and is an old one. Its stamped in black too. My design papers came from a paper pad that is a 6 x 6 and I cant remember the name.

I really enjoyed making my card for today, and Hope you enjoyed my post! thank you so much!

Really Reasonable Ribbon Supplies used:
Chelsea Rose
Green Leaves
Delicate Stitched Satin Mineral Ice
Foam squares
scotch advanced Tape runner refill
Rose buds in pink and the yellows
sweetheart blossom
Mini open Rose
Cosmo Daisy

Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Choose Joy Greeting Card

Hey there friends and crafty peeps! Ginny here dropping in to share a new card I created with my fav RRR trim.

This is a good way away from my usual color palate. I typically go with shabby chic.
I feel like this is a nature inspired card with the print on the journal card and all the florals.
I love the mix of black and kraft and also polka dot and stripe.
I went for a monochromatic kind of  arrangement with all the same toned creme colored flowers.
The super beautiful bold check ribbon tied into a poofy bow topped with twine and a button.

~Really Reasonable Ribbon~ Bold Check Back Ribbon, Ivory Burlap String

Wishing you a happy and productive day : ) G
