Merry Christmas

Lipstick Red Seam Binding Ribbon
This is my posting day for Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Hi, I am Nancy Hill and very excited to share with you my card as well as this gorgeous Lipstick Red seam binding ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon at $.30 a yard.  This color is deep red to match perfectly with the poinsettia and colors in the Graphic 45 paper.  Soon,  I will be ordering the roll of this gorgeous Lipstick Red seam binding ribbon for my Christmas cards and Valentine cards.

I made this bow using the Zutter Bow It All bow maker which I have been recommending to everyone since I bought mine over a year ago from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I had given the Zutter Bow It All  bow maker as Christmas gift to my friends and now they are recommending it to everyone as well.  I always attach my ribbons and bows to my cards or projects using the Scor Tape from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  This tape is a must for me and Really Reasonable Ribbon carries various sizes.

I added a pearl antique brad for the center of this bow since I wanted the bow to bring out the poinsettia.  I added the new Tutti Designs Dove Circle die that was cut with gold mirror card stock.  The embossing folder is the Creative Expression-Sue Wilson-Snow Flake Lattice on white/gold shimmer card stock.  The Merry Christmas is a die cut from Cheery Lynn Designs.

Come join the fun with Really Reasonable Ribbon challenges and our Blog Hop every month on the 13th and you might become the next winner.  The Really Reasonable Ribbon design team really appreciates all of your comments as well as seeing your beautiful cards posted on these challenges.  Our design team members have new cards posted each day on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Facebook and Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog of inspiring ways of using these gorgeous ribbons along with the other stunning flowers and supplies to give your card that "WOW!" look.

Wishing All a Happy Father's Day

Hi Everyone,

It's me, Deborah , giving you some inspiration on Father's Day and sending warm wishing to all those wonderful Dads out there. I hope you all are having a great day with your family, friends or what every you have planned for today, and especially if you are crafting! :D

I know Father's Day is here and most of us are done with our Father's Day cards but I wanted to share a couple of cards I made with the really cool ribbon from the RRR store. I think you will agree that this ribbon is awesome for these type of cards. :D

I made two Masculine Dress Shirt Cards using this diagonal striped ribbon -
For these cards I used the Satin Diagonal Striped Ribbon
I just love how this ribbon looks like a real "tie" on these shirts.
I just couldn't help myself, I had to find out if it would work out. (lol)

I added the sentiment card on the inside.

Thank you all for stopping by I hope you all have a fantastic day. I hope you get a chance to try making one of these cards with the diagonal striped ribbon or try a different one from the Really Reasonable Ribbon store. You will love all the different types of ribbons and trims.

Hugs,
Deborah xxx

Our Stories

{judy} I am thrilled to be back on the RRR Design Team, and am so excited to be working with Bonnie and all the very talented designers in the group! Today I am sharing a simple birthday card using two of my favorite trims: Baker's Twine and Chevron Twill. Even more cool is that the twill is in a 1/4" size! I love petite little things, so was very happy to see that size in the RRR Store.
The images in this stamp set are actually made to stamp "shaded." It's brand new to me (first inking was today!), so when I stamped the pears I was saying, "Why isn't this stamping solid??!" and I colored in the pears then with a marker. But when the leaves did the same thing, I finally figured it out haha!

The card is actually wrapped twice with both the Coral Baker's Twine and the 1/4" Celery Chevron Twill. I then tied a simple bow with the twine.

Thanks for stopping by today! I would love for you to follow me on:

Congratulations Deborah!

First of all this was an awesome hop well done ladies! I started crafting as a young girl. I especially loved being in the Scouts because we did all types of crafts so I was exposed to a variety of crafts. I do love paper crafting these days and I have taught classes on showing how to craft with stamps, inks, cs, embellies, etc. Even though I try to find time for a variety of crafting, paper carafting more specifically card making is my first love ❤️

Now if you didn't win, don't worry!! We will be 'hopping' each month so you'll have another chance to win soon! We hope you stop by and visit our blog often.

Be sure to check out our current challenge here. We'd love to have you play along with us. Have a super day!

Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge #143 - Sizzlin' Summer Colors with Ribbon or Trim

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge here at Really Reasonable Ribbon. Please scroll down to the next post for the winners of the last challenge.
The theme for Challenge #143 is Sizzlin' Summer Colors.
Create a card, layout, multi media piece, tag, ATC, hair bow, you name it. Just be sure to follow the theme above and use ribbon, lace or trim somewhere on your project.

*******************

Here is a little inspiration from our design team for challenge #143 to get you started.  All of the sample projects feature ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

************************

Now, let's see your Sizzlin' Summer Colors creations!
We will be selecting our top three favorite projects to feature, so stop back on July 1st to see our picks along with our next challenge theme.

Here's what you need to do:
* Create a new project using the posted theme. A layout, card, ATC, home decor item, hair bow, or anything you can think of provided it fits the weekly theme.
* You may enter up to 6 projects, but you're asked to provide newly designed projects. No back-linking please.
* All projects must also include some sort of ribbon, lace or trim.
* A maximum of 6 entries per person per challenge please.
* Post your project on your blog or an online gallery (using code RRR143) and link it here with the Inlinkz tool below. Please provide a direct link to your post, not an entire blog.
* You have until June 29th at 11:59 PM Eastern time to enter your projects. Thanks so much for playing and good luck.

PLEASE consider turning off your word verification.
It would be a great help to us if you would consider turning off your word verification if it's active on your blog. To do this is really easy and all you need to do is go to Customize > Settings > Comments > then scroll down to where it says comment moderation and select always (this won't stop anybody leaving you a comment but they won't show on your blog until you approve them). Then scroll down to show word verification for comments? and select No.
We love to visit your blogs and leave comments on all the terrific entries, but the word verification really slows us down. :o)

Sunshine and Honeybees

Hello, Friends!  Kathy here with a summery Sunshine and Honeybees project made with the fabulous Citrus Ribbon Assortment from the RRR June Ribbon Club.
I call this card the Orange Blossom Special because of all the wonderful shades of yellow, gold and tangerine.  I paired images and papers from the Bee's Knees Creativity Kit (Polly's Paper Studio Shop) with the Tangerine Cross Hatch Satin Ribbon and Maize Diamond Satin to form a a belly band.  Then, because I liked the combo so much, I created a double loop/triple loop bow with the same two ribbons.
I tied a square knot around the top of my banner flag with Maize Honeycomb Satin.  Instead of tossing my ribbon scraps in the trash, I shaped the cut end, stapled them together and tucked them beneath the image of the bee.  I will be doing this again, as I really like the way it turned out!
I created a couple of pockets on the inside of the card.
More little snips of ribbon here, and some sweet treats to go inside the pockets.
And because I was having such fun playing with ribbon and bees and flowers, I went ahead and built a little Post it Note Wallet.  I only used the Maize Diamond Satin on this one, but I do love how pretty it turned out.
I really love the extra layer of texture and subtle pattern this ribbon adds. Just a touch of black burlap string was needed beneath the burlap sunflower to tie everything together.
The inside has a slash pocket, a couple of tags and a nice 4x6 Post it Pad.  Now writing down your to-do list will put you in a good mood!

Thanks for stopping by!
Cheerio,
