Snow Much Fun by Jenn Cochran

Good morning friends and followers of Really Reasonable Ribbon.  So glad you could join me on this last Saturday before Christmas.  I am Jenn Cochran from Jax Bean Stalks.  Today I have an adorable Christmas card to share with you.  It features several Really Reasonable Ribbon items.  Don't forget to scroll to the bottom to peek at my video on how I made this card!  Would LOVE a thumbs up if you like it!

I have a four layered bow on the front of this Gate Fold Window Card.  My 1st layer is a popular ribbon, It is 1.5" Circus Dots in Red.  Then I added Mini Pom Poms in red.  Next up is Swiss Dots in Apple Green.  Finally one of my favorite ribbons that Bonnie carries at RRR, 1/4" Chevron Striped Twill in Red.

I started off  by stapling my Circus dots into two loops, then I glued down the pom poms.  Next I made bows out of the Satin Swiss Dots and the Chevron Twill.  I layered them together with glue too.  Finally I added on the Maya Road Bingo piece.

Thanks for joining me today.  Merry Christmas!

Mason Lid Wreath By Jenn Cochran

Hello friends and followers of RRR.  So glad you have joined me today.  I have a very special treat for both of us!  I have made my very 1st video.  I am super excited about it.  It was a bit of a challenge to get it going but I finally did it!  It isn't too fancy.

In the video, I have made a Mason Jar Lid Wreath.  It turned out really cute!  I hope you like it and try making one for yourself.

I have used the following Really Reasonable Ribbons on my wreath:  Red 3/8" Ric Rac, Apple 3/8" Ric Rac, Bakers Twine Cherry, and 1.5" Circus Dots Grosgrain Red

Thank you so much for stopping by.  If you would like to see other project made by me featuring Really Reasonable Ribbon, please visit my blog or click HERE.

RRR Hair Bow

Hello everyone, Cheryl here with a different kinda post for me. I made my DARLING Niece a Hair bow using Really Reasonable Ribbons /Alligator Clip and a button. However I had to use my laptop to snap photo's due to her age, and not sure how good you will be able to see, but hope this works!! :)
Supplies Used:

For this photo I just wanted to show what it looked like while she was wearing it, and it was super hard to get her to pose.....LOL I might have to try this again with making more of these, they work well using the Hair clips that Bonnie sells Here! I used the 50 mm Alligator Clips, they seem to hold well in her fine hair.

And here is a fun picture of the 2 of us, we were just having fun in my craft room.

I hope everyone had a Very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all!!!!
Hugs,
Cheryl

Ready for the New Year

The Christmas tree decorations are packed away and stored in the attic. The black-eyed peas and pork chops are ready to be cooked. The party hats and noise makers have been bought. And the first page of my 2011 calendar has been scrapped. Yep, this year I plan to create my own calendar from scrapping supplies. Here's the January page.

Each month I am going to embellish one of KI Memories Sew Cute calendar pages and then actually use it to keep track of my family's day-to-day activities (sports practice, appointments, days off, holidays, etc.). In order to be functional, I decided to keep it pretty simple, so I just numbered the days, embellished the front, and created a pre-made layout on the back for my favorite photo of the month. And, of course, those embellishments included ribbon.

For the front, I used lots of Cherry Baker's Twine. There's a three inch strip to connect the mittens. And then each of the red buttons is finished with a little bit. Since discovering the Baker's Twine Assortment in the store, I just can't leave a button untied. It is the perfect finish to any button.

After the month's end, I plan to choose one or two pictures to add to the brown mat. More importantly, I plan to journal about the importance of the photo. Then, I'm going to place each page in an album. Won't it be fun to go back and see just exactly where the time went?

Um, how cute is that snowman with his Red Rik Rak scarf? LOVE that! I also added some Red Circus Dots Grosgrain on top of all my paper strips using Scor-Tape adhesive. Definitely my favorite adhesive for adding ribbon strips to a layout.

Oh, and look, another button with Baker's Twine. Big surprise there, hun? Ha!

Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you'll come back on Saturday for our January 1st Challenge. And Happy New Year! Aphra
