Autumn - A Time for Letting Go

It's time for another beautiful ribbon-adorned card featuring a few of the (many) fabulous trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  This card combines a few of their wonderful products with a lovely Autumn sentiment from Bonnie Garby Designs.  If you're ever looking for a specific sentiment and don't want to spend a small fortune buying a complete acrylic or rubber stamp set, then Bonnie Garby Designs may be the answer.  They carry hundreds of amazing sentiments for every occasion - without "breaking the bank" so to speak.
This card uses navy blue and cream cardstock as the base.  It's layered with some fun Crate Paper patterned papers from their Farmhouse collection. I used the Postage Stamp Die to cut the various pieces.  As I mentioned, the sentiment can be found in the Autumn Sentiments 2 Set; but it printed in black.  I ran a length of Brown & Cream Gingham Ribbon and a length of Navy Wrinkle Ribbon across my card.
I used the Navy Wrinkle Ribbon to tie my double bow, and then I tucked in some bundled Ivory Burlap String and several Double Head Stamens for color and texture.  And....they're just SO pretty.  I used several pieces of Scor-Tape to secure everything securely in place.  I also used some 3-D Foam Tabs to raise the sentiment piece.
I rubbed the sentiment piece with Marmalade Oxide Ink and sprayed it with Bundled Sage Distress Ink Spray.  This close-up photo (above) gives you a better look at how crisp and beautiful the sentiments from Bonnie Garby Designs truly are....even when you add ink, etc. to them.  I tend to use them a lot simply because they're SO lovely and cover every occasion.
Before I sign off today, I wanted to share one more photo with you.  I shared this sweet cross-stitched card for the September RRR Blog Hop, but I forgot to share this photo that also includes some of the FUN Halloween Ribbons available at RRR.  They really do have ribbons, trims and embellishments for EVERY season, every occasion and every project.  You'll always find the perfect design, width, colors, etc.
I hope you'll stop by and support Really Reasonable Ribbon AND Bonnie Garby Designs.  They're both owned by my sweet friend, Bonnie, and she's a very sweet, fair and honest person.  You'll find reasonable shipping costs (free at Bonnie Garby Designs of course) and you can find loads of inspiration and information about special sales and promotions on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog.  Thanks so much for visiting today.

Blessings,
Karen

Beary Sweet Halloween Treat Bags

Hello everyone and Happy Friday to you all! Today's  Halloween Treat Bags were designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the beautiful Shimmer Satin Ribbon they carry, and then a Cuddly Cute SVG Bear dressed as a spider. Love how these turned out, and Hope you do too!
The bags were purchased at one of the warehouse sales here in Utah. I bought a ton of these bags so I could decorate them up to give. I started on this bag by using the spider ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and glued it to the bottom of each bag. Next I punched out the scalloped circles using a spider design paper ,and distressed it with orange, and then added black dots. The larger one was cut using black card stock and I added white dots. I used my New Cricut air machine to cut out 9 bears dressed like spiders, so cute! I airbrushed them and added eyelashes, and shadowing. They all have a little white flower on their heads. The Happy Halloween was cut using a die, and same with the bat. Next I chose to use the beautiful Orange Shimmer Satin ribbon. Love how these all turned out. I may have to make some others using different designs, and ribbons.
Supplies Used:
Hot glue
SVG Bear
Punches
Dies , white gel pen, black pen, chalks, copics, air compressor ,

Thank you so very much for stopping by! Hope you have a lovely day!

Boo-tiful Halloween Banner

Hello, Friends!  Kathy here with a Boo-tiful Halloween banner made with spooktacular ribbons and trims. The September Ribbon Club Assortment is all about Halloween, which makes me as happy as can be!

Each pennant is stitched to a long piece of 1 1/2" Black Silky Crush Ribbon. Then I created bow clusters with Halloween Gingham Ribbon on each end of the banner.

Stitch orange ric rac across the top of the banner to add a pop of color and texture.  Then tie long pieces of the Halloween Geometric print between the pennants.  I just tied a simple square knot, then topped with a burlap string bow and button.

Have you started decorating for Halloween yet?  I hope this little banner gives you some inspiration and ideas to get you started!

Thanks for stopping by!

I also used the cute little Halloween Too Cute to Spook print on black grosgrain ribbon is adhered in the middle of the card.
Here is the inside of the card. So cute!  I thought this little card was perfect for this inside.

I just love the vivid contrast of orange and black paired together.  It really makes you sit up and take notice, right?

Spooky Halloween card

It's Sunday and almost the end of the month and that means it's getting closer to Halloween time around the globe.  This month our amazing "Halloween Ribbon Club Assortment" has been so much fun to use and is perfect for all those fun little projects that you are going to do to dress up the house.  Today I have a few today to share with you.
My first project is a card I did using a spider web embossing folder, Penny Black Stamp, We R Black Widow 6x6 papers and my favorite check ribbon ever from the Ribbon Club Assortment.  I also used just a bit of this neat "black webbing ribbon" that looks like Spider webs and is great for little things.
And of course I had to come up with a new air freshener wrap and this time I used some spider web paper from K & Company and then decorated it with the black webbing and some purple nite seam binding ribbon and a cute bow with the "satin swiss mini dot apple green ribbon".  I so love all these colors together.

I also thought it would be fun to make some post it wraps to give.  For these I just cut paper strips and layered them and then used a Spellbinders die to cut a fun edge on them.  To finish it I added a velcro tab to close it and a pretty sheer orange satin ribbon bow on the top.  They are fun and festive and it's always fun to give a little something to friends and co workers.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend... Teresa
