Beloved Pet Bereavement Card

Hello, Friends!  Sometimes, life is sad.  And when someone loves a beloved pet, it's nice to let them know that you care.  This Pet Bereavement Card is the perfect way to do that.  I've adorned it with a gorgeous Blue, Ivory and Gold Plaid Ribbon from the February Ribbon Club Assortment.  It's the perfect pairing for this Authentique Purebred collection.

This poufy triple loop bow was easy to tie, thanks to my Zutter Bow-it-All Tool.  Once I'd tied the bow, I simply added a bit of hot glue beneath my flower clusters.  Then I used the tips of my scissors to push the knot into the hot adhesive.  You will need to hold it in place for a second or two.  Then you can just "fluff the bow" by inserting your fingers inside the loop and poufing them out again.

Painted wood embellishments and gentle distressing lend a wonderful vintage vibe to this card design.

Here's a peek at the inside.

I hope you never have to use this card idea, but if you do...it will mean so much to the recipient!

Thanks for stopping by!
Cheerio,
kathy

  1. What a nice card for pet bereavement. I'm sure it would be welcomed by so many people that have lost their companions. [Bunny]
