One Down. Two to Go.

Hi Scrapeprs! Aphra here today to share a card.

I thought now that we have all finished crafting our Christmas cards, we could get a head start on our Valentine's cards. Ok, well maybe I didn't actually craft all my cards, but I did create them at Winkflash and send them out. Yesterday. So, yes, I really do need to start making Valentine's cards now. All three that I plan to make. Here's the first one.

Love You Card

The bow is made from 1/2" Pink Wrinkled Ribbon and Cotton Candy Baker's Twine from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The soft pink colors really work well with the bright patterned paper on my card. Don't worry, though, you are bound to find just the right shade of pink HERE in the store. There are over 200 different pink ribbons. Perfect for Valentine's Day!

One down. Two to go. I might just finish by February 14th. LOL! Have a great day!

Count Your Blessings!

Hello, It's Connie again!! For my card today, I have used some more of the wonderful ribbons from this month's ribbon of the month assortment: the Brown Leaf Trim and Brown satin/grosgrain double band ribbon from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store. I have to say...I so LOOOOVE the leaf trim...I have some in green also...can't wait to give that a try too!

My image is from the Full of Grace - Blessings set from ODBD. For the sketch, I decided to use the Mojo Monday #169. The sentiment was cut out with the labels 5 nestabilites with my Grand Calibur machine and then sponged with old paper distress ink. The DP is from Basic Grey's Curio package. To finish off the card, I added three flowers from Zva Creative sprayed with Glimmer Mist.

Thanks so much for visiting me! For more cards and projects with Really Reasonable Ribbon on them head on over to my blog!

Christmas stockings

It's Tuesday again, so my turn to post something delicious using Really Reasonable Ribbon, and I hope you'll enjoy making these cute stockings, if not for this Christmas, then definitely for next Christmas.  I certainly had fun with them.  As you have probably guessed, I only thought of putting their names on them (for our Harper and his cousin Holly) after I'd finished sewing them, so had to come up with the tag idea, which works OK, but if I were to make more of them I'd get the name embroidered onto the fabric before I started sewing!

They really are bright and cheery, and I hope our little grandson and his cousin will still be using them each Christmas for a long time to come.

Decorative Ruler and Tie Knot Tutorial

Hi Everyone!

True :D  here.

Today, I have prepared a quick little video tutorial to show you an easy way to decorate a plain ruler with designer paper and ribbon. They would make great last minute stocking stuffers for less then a dollar!
Of course I always use Really Reasonable Ribbon's gorgeous grosgrain ribbons on the rulers. The color I used in this video is the orange swiss dots.

You can enlarge the video to full screen by clicking the 4 arrows in the lower right hand corner of the video viewer.

I hope you and yours have a happy and healthy Christmas filled with family, friends, and love!

Hugs,
