Really Reasonable Guest Designer Lisa Somerville

Hi everyone, my name is Lisa Somerville and I'm excited to be the Guest Designer today for Really Reasonable Ribbon!  Today I'm sharing two projects here on the RRR Blog, and also two projects on my blog

For my first project, I created a card, showcasing the beautiful Brown Wrinkled Ribbon.  I'm in love with the quality and richness of this Wrinkled Ribbon.  The quote is from Our Daily Bread Designs Quote Collection 1, stamped in Brown Sugar on a piece of Authentique Pattern Paper.  To create the Ribbon Treatment, I tied a Triple Bow using Becca's Peg Bow Maker and the Brown Wrinkled Ribbon.  Then added a flower to the center that was cut using the Silhouette Cameo, and Authentique Pattern Paper.  To further embellish, I added some Zva Creative Flourish Crystals and some die cut Butterflies.
My next project features one of the ribbons from the March Assortment and White Wrinkled Ribbon

I love the colors in the March Assortment, they are right in line with the Spring color tends!  I created the purse using the "ES" in the Bag Template, cutting from pattern paper using the Silhouette Cameo.  To embellish I created a Double Bow using the White Wrinkled Ribbon and Becca's Peg Bow Maker, then added a Rolled Rose that I created with the checkered dusty Guava ribbon from the March Assortment.

I hope you'll stop by my blog to see the other projects I've created with Really Reasonable Ribbon!

Thanks for stopping by!

Puffy Ribbon Technique

Hello, It's Connie again! I have a super quick and easy ribbon technique for you today! I was not sure what it is called so I decided on the puffy ribbon technique. If you have a better name, or know what it is called, please let me know! LOL!! Here I have used some 1.5" brown wrinkled satin ribbon, and some jute string. I took some small pieces of twine, and tied it around the wrinkled satin ribbon about an inch apart to give it the "puffy" portions of the ribbon treatment!

This wonderful Dahlia image will be released from Our Daily Bread Designs June 1st! I stamped it four times, colored each image with copics and cut out each layer to
give it some dimension! The base of the card was stamped with the Crocheted background stamp (which will also be released June 1st) in early espresso and sponged with crumb cake ink. The wonderful DP is from Prima, and this sketch is from this week's Mojo Monday sketch!

Thanks so much for visiting today! I hope you have a wonderful day!

One Down. Two to Go.

Hi Scrapeprs! Aphra here today to share a card.

I thought now that we have all finished crafting our Christmas cards, we could get a head start on our Valentine's cards. Ok, well maybe I didn't actually craft all my cards, but I did create them at Winkflash and send them out. Yesterday. So, yes, I really do need to start making Valentine's cards now. All three that I plan to make. Here's the first one.

Love You Card

The bow is made from 1/2" Pink Wrinkled Ribbon and Cotton Candy Baker's Twine from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The soft pink colors really work well with the bright patterned paper on my card. Don't worry, though, you are bound to find just the right shade of pink HERE in the store. There are over 200 different pink ribbons. Perfect for Valentine's Day!

One down. Two to go. I might just finish by February 14th. LOL! Have a great day!

Make a Beautiful Journal for Pennies!

Hello All!
True :D here... 'cause it is Saturday! My turn to post! Woohoo!

My project for today is taking advantage of the back to school specials that are going on right now. I picked up some composition books for a quarter a piece at our local Wal-mart store.

By adding some stash paper, some beautiful ribbon and some scor-tape, I created this!

The designer paper is from DCWV "Rustic" stack.
That beautiful ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. It is their Brown Wrinkled Ribbon.
Butterfly stamps and punch are by Martha Stewart.
I printed the word "JOURNAL" out with my printer.

If you missed the post yesterday on my blog about the special book I was a part of, please CLICK HERE.
Make sure and leave a comment on that post for a chance to win a copy of the book!
We would love a comment on what you think about my journal too before you go!  ;)

BTW...you still have a couple of days to enter our "Aloha" challenge.
Why not be the first to do an "Aloha" Journal!!!!

Hugs,
True :D
