I Love You Valentine

Hello everyone and Happy Monday to you all! Today's card was designed for Really Reasonable  Ribbon and My Makers Movement. I really had a lot of fun making this darling shaker Valentine card, I love making these!

On my card for today I chose to use the beautiful new ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon its absolutely gorgeous in person and I LOVE the way it makes up bows, and of course its my favorite color PINK..

I found this stack of paper in my stash and just had to use it for my card today. Love Letters by first edition paper. It works perfectly with the new My Makers Movement Nest Scallope Heart dies, love these darling little hearts, and the fun Hugs & Kisses Shaker sprinkles. So cute! The Ribbon works perfectly with the colors I've chosen. Loving this ribbon from RRR!  Each layer was put together using the scotch advanced tape refill along with foam squares to give it some 3-D layering . I did add some sewing and then white gel dots.

Flowers were done using Makers Movement Petite Posies Die set and doing my glass flower technique on them. I have several videos on my blog here, and this one was just using the design paper and card stock, so super easy.

I also did the inside of the card using the same design paper and card stock.

Really Reasonable Ribbon Supplies Used:
Pearl Pink Bold Satin with Grosgrain edge

LOVE Card with Layered Ribbon and Lace

Hey friends! Linsey here today sharing a little weekend card inspiration with a Valentine/Love theme! Take a looky loo! 😍
I double-layered a postage stamp die cut using 2 different patterned papers, then wrapped my ribbon treatment around opposing corners with White Crocheted Lace and 1/8" Diagonal Stripe Ribbon. I added a few WOC Carnations Mixed Red to my card as well. This is definitely a card to be hand delivered, hehe!
And that's all for today! Only 6 more days until Valentine's Day, so get those cards out to anyone you want to send your love to this year! And remember, it's always better with ribbon! Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend! Happy crafting!

Kiss The Cook/Recipe Card Folder

Hello there, and thanks for visiting today, everyone.  Karen Letchworth here posting a fun Recipe Card Folder that's sure to warm your heart.  I used lots of great products from Really Reasonable Ribbon to create this for a friend who loves to cook/bake; and who loves old "kitchy" things like I do.  So, with that theme in mind, I decided to send her a card that not says hello and lets her know I'm thinking about her, but also incorporates a couple of recipes and even gives me the opportunity to tuck in a few vintage kitchy items for her.
I started with a basic card, and used cardstocks and patterned papers to make my base.  I ran some red print gaffer tape along the binding of the card to give it some girth (you may catch a glimpse of it in photos).  The front of the card incorporates the cardstocks, patterned papers and ephemera which I layered together securely with strips of Scor-Tape.  This is a fabulous Adhesive that comes in several widths to help you create cards and projects that will stay together over time.  The front of my card also has a journaling card from this Bo Bunny (Kiss The Cook) line I used.  I added a length of Cherry Baker's Twine to the printed apron, and I tied it around her apron giving it extra length to hang down.  Baker's Twine is SUPER inexpensive at just 10cents/yard and comes in OODLES of fun colors.  The sentiment on the front of the card is a chipboard piece from this same Bo Bunny line.  I also added a floral cluster/bow to the front of the card which includes a length of Red Burlap String and Cherry Baker's Twine, and is topped with a Yellow Magnolia Flower and two Pastel Green Open Roses, some Red, Blue and Black Double Head Stamens and a Mulberry Leaf.  I also sprinkled some prills on the paper surrounding the floral cluster.  There's also a 16mm Heart Shaped Immitation Pearl Buckle Slide on the front of my card that has red and yellow prills and glitter in its center.
On the inside left of the card, I added a small white lunch bag that I folded over to create a pocket.  I covered the smaller (low) portion of the bag with patterned papers, and used Scor-Tape once again to secure the outer edges of the pocket; leaving me with the small extra pocket in front where I tucked in a cute ephemera chocolate chip cookie with cooking tips written on it, an antique/vintage wooden spoon with the wrapper still on, a ticket, and a tea bag.  Then, in the top pocket of the bag, I tucked in a couple recipe cards with yummy recipes on them for my friend to enjoy.  I decorated the pocket bag with a width of Red Gingham Ribbon, Yellow Burlap String, Red Double-Head Stamens, Black Gingham Ribbon tied with Solid Black Baker's Twine, and some Mixed Blue Sweetheart Blossoms.  You can see some of the peeking through when you look at the front of the card.
On the inside right of the card, I added a piece of ivory cardstock inked with red edges.  This is where I will write my personal note to my friend before sending it off.  I tried really hard not to add too much, but to still give my card some special touches.  Really Reasonable Ribbon always has the perfect items to help me adorn my cards and projects.  Things like Mulberry Flowers, Stamens, Burlap String, Baker's Twine, Adhesives, and SO much more can be found at RRR.  There's also lots of inspiration on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog, and let's not forget about our FUN monthly Blog Hop which is just around the corner.  We hope you'll join us in  six days (13th of every month) for our Blog Hop where one lucky person will win our FABULOUS Ribbon Club Assortment.  Like I said, there's always lots of inspiration and fun at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Thanks again for stopping by!
Please stop by again soon.  Your visits are always welcomed and appreciated,, and we're happy to answer any questions you might have.  Have a blessed and creative week, everyone.  See you again on the 13th for our Blog Hop.  Until then.....

Hello Butterfly Greeting Card

Hello there friends and crafty peeps! Ginny here to share a card I created with the gorgeous trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I found a beautiful blue patterned paper for my background and layered on a scalloped edge stitched rectangle die and coordinating patterned papers.

This Diamond Satin Blue Topaz Ribbon matches perfectly! I've topped it with a loopy twine bow created with Ivory Burlap String.

Last but not least a garden full of flowers and a big blocky sentiment.

Valentine Cutie

Hello everyone, and Happy Saturday to you all! Today I wanted to share a card I made using some of the beautiful flowers and ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon! I'm loving all the flowers, and have been using them a lot on my cards lately.

So for my card today I chose to use the die cut to create my card base to have the darling hearts on top. Love using these card toppers. I layered using a few different Valentine patterns and then added sewing. All layers were put together using the Scotch Advanced Tape Refill, and Scor-Tape as well.  For the layering and giving it a 3-D look, I chose to use some of the foam squares. This cute little kitty unicorn die is a CC die, and then I did a cluster of flowers below her. I chose the beautiful Magnolia flower and then the red Cherry Blossoms, and mint Rose Buds. I did cut out some branches to use, and also layered all of this on a Gingham Red Ribbon.
