Life's Little Blessings

I hope you guys are all having a great Saturday.  We are planning on going to football game later today but are finally expecting some decent rain down here in Texas so we might just be watching it on TV.  We need rain so badly so you won't hear any complaints from me.

I recently receivedd my order of October Afternoon - Woodland Park paper.  I love this collection....the navy blue is so pretty.
I added some buttons and tied a pretty bow with this Navy Blue Ribbon.
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut he scallop ovals.  I added this adorable little racoon sticker from the collection pack...he's so sweet!

One Last Project

This is the second post of the day.  Be sure to scroll down when you are done so you don't miss Tilly's terrific project.

Hi there Really Reasonable Ribbon fans! It's Aphra here today with my last RRR post. I've had such a terrific six months on the RRR DT. I've met some fabulous crafters, learned some great techniques, and acquired an amazing collection of ribbon. And even though this is my last post, I am not saying goodbye because I'll still be checking out all the inspiration and hopefully playing along in some challenges. Alright then, on to my project.

Just Because Gift Bag

The actual gift bag was cut from kraft cardstock with my Cricut Expression Plantin Schoolbook cartridge. It's the perfect little bag for a gift card. Love it!

After adding a 3.5" wide strip of patterned paper, I used some Scor-Tape to add two strips of 5/8" Bright Pink W/White Stitched Edge ribbon. I like how the ribbon finishes off the edge of the paper, adds some texture, and mimics the dashes on the paper. Easy too! Then I embellshed with a layered flower (a scrunched strip of 1" x 12" paper added to the back of a couple of tags), a button, and some Apple Baker's Twine. Add a gift card and some tissue paper and you are done!

Thanks for checking out my post today! And for all your sweet comments during my term here at RRR. Hope to see you all soon!

Who's that Girl???

Hey there everyone. It's me Erika. Remember me? I'm still here and I'm absolutely loving all the new products that are available in the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store. Have you seen the new Helmar Adhesive? I've got a couple of projects to share with you today using some beautiful ribbon and Helmar. Sit back and enjoy.

So many of you have been wanting to see ideas using ribbon on scrapbook pages. For this layout, I used the 1 1/4" Black Silk Ribbon. First I adhered it to the backside of the layout using the Helmar Adhesive Runner. This stuff works wonderfully on ribbons and trim. Then at 1 1/2" intervals, I twisted the ribbon and adhered the "twist" to the layout using the Helmar adhesive runner again. It really gives that little bit of dimension.

Notice all the flowers, chipboard and cutouts on the layout? All adhered using Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots. if you love having dimension on your projects ladies and gents, this stuff will BLOW YOUR MIND!!! you get to be the judge on what height of dimension you want. I can't tell you how much I love this stuff. Try it, and you will too.

Next I have a little card that I've created using the Stitched Edge Reversible Burgundy/Gold 3/8" ribbon. Such a simple piece of ribbon, but when you add a few pearls, not so plain jane.
Again I used the Helmar Quick Fix Adhesive Runner for the ribbon and all of the layers of paper. Can you guess how I got all the different layers of dimension? If you guessed Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots, you are right on the money. For $5.49, you are going to find adhesive HEAVEN in a tube I tell ya.

Thanks so much for stopping by the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog today. Try some great ribbon and pair it up with Helmar Adhesive. You will LOVE the outcome.

PS- If you love dimensional dots, try the Helmar Zapdots. Available in 2 shapes, 2 sizes and 3 colors. A dimensional dot for every use.

Toodles

Wine Jute Ribbon and Moss Green w/White Stitched Edge Grosgrain Ribbon

Hello Everyone!

I was finally able to create a card using some of the really fun new jute ribbon. I love how easy it is to use and the effect you get from this type of ribbon. The ribbon comes in 5 spectacular solid colors (Natural, Orange, Wine, Spring Green and Hunter) and 2 stripe colors (Green/Pink and Turquoise/White).

I also used Moss Green w/White Stitched Edge Grosgrain ribbon. This ribbon comes in many various colors and styles of Stitched Edges. The combining of both ribbons gave my card even more of a country feel than I was hoping to accomplished to go with the farm scene images.

Visit Really Reasonable Ribbon today and choose from many various styles of ribbon that are available. Add your very own combination of ribbons together to create a different look to any card/project.
