Enjoy the Little Things Gift Box and Mini Card

Hello, Ribbon Lovers! I'm always on the lookout for fun ways to share a gift card. The other day I was putting together a birthday present for one of our daughters-in-law when a very fun idea came into my head.  So I grabbed my Graphic 45 Cafe Parisian papers and some pretty Pink Salmon Seam Binding Ribbon and put together this fun gift box and mini card set.

Isn't it cute?  The base is a 3x4.25" matchbox that I've had in my stash forever.  I simply dressed it up with pretty Cafe Parisian papers and images.  Then I created a small easel style topper, added some posies and a pretty Pink Salmon Seam Binding bow.

I left room behind the "stopper" so that I could slip a little gift card inside.

But that's not all!  Open the matchbox drawer and.....

There's a super cute mini card tied with the same pretty ribbon.

I created a belly band that holds an individually wrapped chocolate, and a cute little tuck spot for my handwritten personal message.

This was such a fun and easy project to make, that I plan to do more.  I hope I've shared an idea or two with you that you can use in your own crafty adventures.

Thanks for stopping by!
Cheerio,
kathy

Tump Tumpity Tum

Tump tumpity tum....I just like saying it :) .   All Christmas verbiage makes me happy!  Today is my day here at the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog.   This little mini envelope makes me happy...shiny and full of red accents.  I added washi tape and sticker borders to the bottom...added one of my vintage milk caps and the cutest Santa image that I just happened to get off a Santa towel I bought last year at World Market.  It was too adorable to throw away.  I made  a little mini postcard to nestle inside that and I hand stamped images from Purple Onion stamps.  I topped it off with lipstick red seam binding and added Christmas red zig zag on white ribbon for tying to a package or tree.  Other than that, a bit of Christmas twine to tie my mini sentiment tag on and done!  This could have several uses....a gift enclosure for a gift card, money holder, Christmas ornament, or deck out some garland or a wreath.  Hope you enjoy!  hugs, Cherry

Holiday Wishes Pocket Gift Card Holder

Hi there crafty peeps!  I am here today to share with you a gift card/treat holder I made using products from my Fun Stampers Journey collection and ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I created a double pocket with Cranberry Bliss Cardstock and my Pocket Card Die.  I assembled it, and cut two pieces of holiday patterned paper to fit inside the front pocket and the front of the card.  I created a notecard for the back pocket with Kiwi Slice Cardstock and stamped a sentiment from the Jolly Friends stamp set onto the top.  I then wrapped some Red Seam binding around the front of the pocket and tied it in a single bow.  I popped up a pierced circle cut from Whip Cream Cardstock.  I then stamped the Star onto Kiwi Slice Cardstock with Kiwi Slice Ink and fussy cut it out.  I adhered down a "nest" of Metallic Silver String on top of the pierced circle and then placed the star on top of that with foam tape.  I stamped the cute little deer image in Versafine ink and colored it with my Tombo markers.  I added Journey Glaze to the nose, antlers, hooves, nose, and scarf.  I fussy cut him out and adhered him to the star.  Finally I added a patterned paper fishtail banner and puffy silver star to a clothespin and pinned a gift card to the inside of the front pocket.  This would also be perfect for a candy cane or another treat in lieu of a gift card.  I hope you enjoy my project.  Have a wonderful day!

Fun Gift Card Holders

I'm back with another fun project that incorporates some fun RRR Ribbon. I love to show crafters all of the different ways to use ribbon. This project will help dress up your Gift Card Holders.

You can make your own envelope holders out of kraft cardstock or you can buy some pre-made ones. The ones I used are from Maya Road.

I also added other fun elements like chipboard, buttons, twine, and of course ribbon. These envelopes are perfect for sweet little notes or gift cards for birthdays, holidays, and other celebrations.
