  2. Am I allowed more than one favorite beach? Here in Maine on the coast there are so many favorites! Sewall Beach on the way to Popham is a secluded beach requiring a two-mile hike in so it is usually quiet and I find lots of blue-tinged shells and moon snails there. Another favorite is the tide pool area at Round Pond, a pretty rocky area at low tide with a bit of sand and lots of interesting sea creatures in the sun-warmed pools. I'm lucky to live just a short drive from the ocean in a state where there are many fresh water beaches as well.

  3. I just made my journey to all of the lovely makes on this stop - I was so in awe with each and everyone one of them - you have a very lovely and creative team using the ribbons Bonnie, including yourself - the journey made me smile - thanks so much for the monthly hop for inspiration and the opportunity to win a ribbon pack - My favorite place to vacation is the State of Tenn - in the fall or winter to visit my dear friends - however, if I could have a crafting vacation - I would visit a person I met on the Internet - to learn her style in crafting and vintage makes ~ have a blessed day!

  4. My favorite vacation destination is in the mountains where there is an actual spring and fall season. We rarely get to go but when we do it feels like heaven. In Florida we rarely get those seasons and it's such a treat to visit areas where you can walk and not feel like you're melting.

The blue and yellow ribbons are fantastic. They are such a lovely color combo. Thank you for the hop. [Bunny]

  5. Such a beautiful collection of ribbons this month, but then they always are.

Washington DC used to be my favorite vacation destination because of the history and amazing museums. But after the trip my husband and I took last year across the western part of the country, I must say that without a doubt, the Redwood Forest is a place that will stay in my heart as a treasure. I could go back again & again and never tire of the beauty & majesty this place possesses.

  6. Mackinanic Island is my favorite place to go for a relaxing get away. It has the perfect combination of water, exploring, shopping & bike riding. Something for everyone. This month’s ribbon color combination reminds me of the sun & water of the summer.

  7. I have always loved the colors of blue and yellow together. When toile was popular in the 90’s, our bedroom was blue and yellows. It was my happy place when we weren’t at Fort Walton Beach in Florida!!

We have had so many wonderful family vacations in Florida. My wonderful husband and all four of my children swim like fish and would go as far out as they could safely (usually the sandbar) and snorkel for hours. My favorite thing to do was laying on the where I could see that beautiful white sand and watch my awesome family.

  8. Lovely ribbon assortment and great work by the DT in showcasing it!
Probably two of my favorite places to visit are Colonial Williamsburg, VA and the Outer Banks of NC, but I'm just as happy to be at home - snowed in with "nothing to do!"

  9. These blues and yellows are so cheerful and summery! Love them! Our favorite vacation spots are centered around mountains... we love driving along the Blue Ridge Parkway, and try to do so at every season of the year.

  11. My favorite vacation destination is my own crafting space! No other obligations or meetings, nothing else pulling on my time. The hours just glide along as I'm working on my latest paper project. Now that's my idea of a vacation!! Thanks for all this blue and yellow inspiration.

  15. I love every beach I go too! If I had to pick my all time favorite it would have to be when I lived on the Greek island of Crete. I was lucky to be stationed there when I was in the Air Force and even luckier to live in a small village in an apartment 50 yds from the beach....aahh...
