Using Juicy Paper Scraps
Hi friends! Vivian here with a card I made for my niece using some juicy mixed media scraps that were left over from other projects. It's a great feeling when you can spend time altering your papers and have that effort pay off on not one, but several papercrafted projects.
The die-cut elements are all Sizzix. And the papers were altered beforehand, so this card came together uber fast!
I doodled a teensy weensy bit and colored in with markers, but mostly just framed the elements using a Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft PITT Artist Pen. I wrapped this piece with Sheer Iridescent Yellow Organza from the Really Reasonable Ribbon shop, tied a bow, and then set my heat tool on it.
You can never have too much organza. I love the way this stuff warps when you burn it a little! I put it under the bright sun and photographed it just so you can see how it shines in the sun and sends shadows dancing on the card.
Looking at it right now in the evening while I write this, it still totally glistens. This card will go to my beautiful niece, Camilla, for her birthday. Hope she likes it!
