Ornaments decorated with Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hello everyone and Happy Thursday to you all! So todays project is ornaments that I decorated and designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the beautiful Delicate Stitched Satin. I thought this ribbon would be perfect for my ornaments I ended up decorating. I love the pink color too.

So for the top one I did hearts and designed it to be the Breast Cancer Ribbon for awareness, this was done up in design space using just a heart shape, then I created it to be the ribbon for my ornament. I thought it turned out darling , and will place this on my tree this year. I will be doing a PINK tree and hoping to use some breast cancer awareness ornaments. I also will cut the ribbon out in a lighter pink to see how it looks.

for the next one I chose to use a gem sticker on it, and then some Really Reasonable Ribbon again. I also used the hearts on my bows. Love how they both turned out, and will be doing more of them.

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
hugs to all, Cheryl

A Cup of Christmas Cheer

kathy clement-really reasonable ribbon-christmas bakers twine-echo park gnome for christmas-spellbinders merry mugs

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  You are cordially invited to join me for a cup of Christmas Cheer!  Nothing says Christmas is coming like a festive card dressed up with Christmas Baker's Twine Bows!  It adds just the right touch of Christmas whimsy to this festive greeting card.  Best of all, it keeps the card from becoming too bulky, so it is still easy to mail.

I've added it to the top of my little gift tag along with a Red Sweetheart Blossom.  Then I tucked it under my cluster of holiday foliage to add extra fulness and texture.  And it does a great job of dressing up the candy canes in the die cut mugs.

Here's a peek at the inside of the card.

It's always fun to add a little surprise message behind a flap.

And a Christmas Baker's Twine bow finishes off this cute tag perfectly.

Have you started your Christmas crafting yet?  It's never too early!

Wishing you all a day filled with good cheer and creativity!

Cheerio,
kathy

A Pocketful of Christmas Fun

One of my favorite little gift-giving projects has always been a good old paper bag pocket.  I have a wide assortment of paper bags for this very reason, and I always greatly enjoy decorating them.  With Really Reasonable Ribbon, I know I'll always find the perfect twines, trims and goodies to help me adorn them with style.  How sweet is this?
I used a basic brown paper bag, and I folded it halfway up, covered the bottom portion with a piece of vintage sheet music that I stamped on with a new Papertrey Ink stamp set.  I machine stitched that to my bag base.  Next, I ran a length of Scor-Tape along the inside lip of the brown paper bag, and I attached a piece of Ivory Crochet Lace at the top.  You can use any type of Crochet Lace to achieve this look.
At the bottom, I attached a piece of Black & White Bold Gingham Ribbon, some wool felt holly and berries that I cut using a Papertrey Ink die.  I also attached a nice long length of Ivory Burlap String and some Cherry Baker's Twine on the rusty jingle bells.  I tucked a gift card in the pocket along with two tags that I adorned with Red & White Bold GinghamMoss Green & Cream Gingham Ribbon, and several Double Head Stamens.
Making a fun paper bag pocket is a great way to give someone something special without spending a whole lot of money.  You can tuck in some photos, a note, a gift card, candies, etc. because there's an automatic built-it pocket for this purpose.  Go ahead....grab a paper bag, some trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and give this a try.
Really Reasonable Ribbon will always provide the perfect products to help you create wonderful cards and projects.  There's lots of great inspiration on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog and lots of great shopping that awaits you at RRR.  Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Blessings,
Karen

Nature's Autumn Bounty

Fall Bounty Easel Card: Really Reasonable Ribbon, Ciao Bella Sound of Autumn, & Reneabouquets
Hello, Friends!  Today I'm celebrating the season with a Fall Bounty Easel Card.  It's adorned with cozy Copper and Cream Ribbon, Pumpkin Baker's Twine, and Mixed Earth Tone Mulberry Flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  And since we're celebrating, I invited some Reneabouquets paper pretties and Ciao Bella's Sound of Autumn Collection to the party. Ciao Bella Sound of Autumn Easel Card, Reneabouquets, Kathy Clement, Kathy by Design, ReallY Reasonable Ribbon I don't know about you, but fall colors and images make me feel all warm and cozy inside.  And there's something about autumn that calls for lush colors and textures.
A Peek Inside
I'm not sure when I first had the idea to add a pocket inside my easel cards, but now I do it all the time.  The pocket doubles as a stopper for the easel mechanism, and creates a lovely spot to add little treats and gifts to the card. Fall mums mix perfectly with autumn foliage, so I added this little tag and notecard/tea wallet combo to the pocket. And of course, there's a Pumpkin Spice tea bag and honey stick, too!  It's a must on these cooler fall days. This is probably my last fall project for 2023.  It's time to pull out the holiday papers and make some beautiful Christmas cards, folios, and home decor items.  I'm always a little sad to put my favorite season "to bed".  Fall never lasts long enough for me. You can find a linked supply list below this post. Thanks for stopping by, friends! Cheerio, kathy SUPPLY LIST

The Stockings Were Hung

I haven't really started hanging the stockings with care just yet.  However, I do have a really nice head start on my Christmas shopping and card-making.  As always, Really Reasonable Ribbon helps me find the perfect ribbons and trims for every card and project I make as Christmas approaches and all year round.  You're always sure to find the perfect ribbons and trims at Really Reasonable Ribbon along with AdhesivesMulberry Flowers and SO much more.
This card started with basic black cardstock that I layered with an Echo Park patterned paper from my stash.  I cut the patterned paper and the sentiment using the Crimped Edge Dies from The Greetery.  This lovely sentiment is found in the Christmas Sentiments Bundle from Bonnie Garby Designs.  I just LOVE the wonderful images and sentiments from Bonnie Garby Designs because there's a perfect fit for every occasion.
I ran a length of Red & White Bold Gingham Ribbon and a length of Moss Green & Ivory Gingham Ribbon across my card underneath the sentiment.  I tied my sweet bow using the Moss Green & Ivory Gingham and I tucked several Double Head Stamens into the bow.  It's topped with a green button to which I added some Solid Red Baker's Twine.
Down at the bottom right, I added a small piece of ruler washi tape and a fabric covered gingham button from the Embellishment section.  It's attached using a piece of Scor-Tape which holds things securely in place.  The Christmas stocking is a sticker also from my stash.  I really wanted to showcase the lovely ribbons and that super sweet bow.  You can find lots of great inspiration on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog and lots of great shopping at both Really Reasonable Ribbon and Bonnie Garby Designs.  Don't miss out on the inspiration and deals.  Just click on the highlighted links to take you directly there.  Thanks so much for stopping by today, and please visit us again soon.
