Sweet Friend

Hello, again everyone! It is Gloria once more! I have been trying to use more of each ribbon club, plus make more than one card from a paper collection. My new craft room is really small compared to my old one, so when I drag out ALL THE THINGS I have been trying to make more than one item at a time! {smile}

For today, I have made a 5" x 7" card from off-white cardstock and layered it with paper from the Authentique Calendar collection. I will miss this paper once I use it all up!

Note: The blue ribbon here is NOT this bright in real life. It is more of a muted color, but for some reason it kept coming up super bright on camera!
The ribbon is from the July 2022 Ribbon Club, Smoke Blue Taffeta and Smoke Blue Satin Swiss Dots

I wrapped the panel with the Smoke Blue Taffeta and the Smoke Blue Swiss Dots ribbons, I then glued on a double bow made from the Smoke Blue Swiss Dots.
The little sentiment is a pre-printed sentiment from Simon Says Stamp.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Sweet as Can Bee Home Decor

Simple Stories Lemon Twist Aqua Striped Chevron Ribbon Peacock Alley Seam Binding

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  I love using ribbon in home décor projects, don't you?  This Sweet as Can Bee hanging shaker is bursting with bodacious summer blooms, buzzing bees and beautiful ribbon! I've topped it off with a little Peacock Alley Seam Binding bow.

Turquoise Chevron Striped Ribbon blends in perfectly with the summery hues of this wall hanging. I actually wrapped the ribbon all the way around the front, creating a lovely belly band effect.  Iridescent Metallic String is  just the perfect finishing touch on this pretty  bow cluster. I love this stuff and use it so much that I purchase it by the spool! It always adds just the right touch of shimmer to a project.

I don't know what  your flower garden looks like right now, but ours is bursting with beautiful blossoms and some very happy honey bees.  Enjoy summer while it lasts, my friends!

Thanks for stopping by!

Paris theme Shaker Memorydex

Hello crafty friends and happy Friday to you all! Today's Memorydex card set was designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the Gorgeous satins that are in the shop. I also used the beautiful flowers as well. Love making these and sure hope you enjoy my post for today.

I started out with cutting my card stock, I do use a heavy card stock from Papertemptress as it holds up strong. I then picked this darling design paper from Carte Bella, and layered it on the black. Next I punched out my borders and layered them. The dies are all from different companies, but I used the darling poodle, lamp post, shaker heart, swirl, rosette, and circles. I then layered them all, and added my black satin with dots ribbon, and the pretty pearl pink satin with silver metallic edge ribbon. The flowers are Open roses in pinks, and sweetheart blossoms, and rose buds. I will link below for easy finding.

others: white paint pen, makers movement shaker, cottagecutz, carte bella design paper,

thank you for stopping by and have a lovely day!
Hugs to all,

Just Because I Love You

Have you seen the beautiful Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon this month?  It's gorgeous, and it's everything you could possibly want for Summer.  There are so many beautiful ribbons and trims, flowers and twines in every color of the rainbow.....and far beyond.  They really have it ALL when it comes to ribbons, trims and SO much more.  I always know I'll find just the right accents at Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I made this card using a piece of black cardstock that I layered with a piece of patterned paper and then a piece of white paper that I oxide inked with Kitsch Oxide Ink.  I ran a length of Olive Winkle Ribbon across my card and used another piece of the Olive Wrinkle Ribbon to tie a pretty bow.  As always, Really Reasonable Ribbon helped me make it look extra pretty.
Underneath the bow, I bundled some Ivory Burlap String and topped the bow with a Miniature Pastel Sweetheart Blossom.  The doily die-cut was cut from the same patterned paper as the base.  The stamped sentiment is from Picket Fence Studios and I stamped it with Forest Green Ink.
Next to the sentiment, I attached a 11mm Flatback Immitation Pearl Heart Embellishment.  I also ran a length of pretty Natural Crochet Lace across my card.  There are still several pretty Crochet Laces available as well as lots of other wonderful Mulberry Flowers, Baker's Twines and more.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Don't forget that there's always lots of great inspiration on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog as well as information about our monthly Blog Hops, and special sales and promotions.  We're always super grateful for your visits and comments.

Blessings,
Karen

Merry & Bright Snowman Christmas Greeting Card

Hey there friends and crafty peeps! I hope you are all enjoying a happy and healthy 4th of July. I'm currently sharing holiday projects for our Christmas in July series and this sweet snowman greeting card is on deck created with trims from RRR.

I really love to create for Christmas with non traditional holiday colors. The inspiration was the pretty pink background on the focal image.  I pulled lots of patterned papers from my stash to coordinate.

The pink plaid ribbon pairs so well and helps to fill in this arrangement of made by me flowers.
