Bloom

Hi everyone! Leslie here, sharing a Really Reasonable Ribbon DT inspiration project with you today, a pretty vintage birthday card using the absolutely gorgeous Baby Pink Seam Binding and Silver Metallic String. I spritzed the seam binding with water and hit it with the heat tool for a few seconds to dry it, which gave it a nice wrinkled look. Seam binding is my all-time favorite ribbon - it always, without fail, makes a beautiful bow! :)

I created this gorgeous bow with my Bow-it-All v2.0. Be sure to see Bonnie's awesome bow tutorials on YouTube. In keeping with the vintage theme for this card, I added a pretty silver filigree charm to the center of the bow and frayed the ribbon tails.

A Valentine Tussie Mussie

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!

Have you seen the pretty pinks in the new January Club Kit yet? Oh gosh, I almost squealed in delight when this gorgeous pack was released! I am a pink lover from the word 'GO"! :) it goes with so so much!

I needed to get started right away with Valentine gifts, as this one was heading off to college with my son when he goes back for the new semester. Girlfriends (as well as friends, family, neighbors, etc.!) expect handmade presents from this mom, as any of you who craft can understand - grins! I asked my son what he wanted me to make her, and a tussie mussie was his request.  No, not in those words exactly..... he IS a guy after all!

I used several of the ribbons available in the monthly ribbon club assortment, as well as white Wild Orchid Crafts magnolias and several sizes & colors of their roses.

You can find more detailed information on my blog, "Just Coffee Please..."

Thanks so much for stopping by! Don't forget to stop back by in just a few day for our newest challenge. :)

Romantic Ribbon

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  With Christmas behind us and Valentine's Day before us, it's time to pull out some romantic ribbon and create some lovey dovey, full of mushy goodness projects.  Are you with me?  I love the new Mon Amour collection from Graphic 45, and I paired it up with the most romantic, scrumptious ribbons and blossoms I could find in my stash.  Get out your fainting couch, because this ribbon is swoon-worthy!
Ooh-la-la!  There is so much ribbony goodness going on here that I hardly know where to start!  This is one of the Middy Bitty Chevron Kraft Bags all dressed up with Mon Amour papers, Garden Rose Double Sided Satin Ribbon, White Iridescent Metallic String, Tabitha Natural Crochet Lace, and a soft pink Mulberry Blossom from the Mixed Magnolia Bouquet.
I used 2.5" Vintage Garden Print Natural Cotton Ribbon to create a belly band on the Middy Bitty Bag.  And I glittered the edges of the magnolia petals, too.  I just love all the wonderful textures these various ribbons add to the project.
I thought you might like a peeky at the insert I created for this unique wedding card gift holder.
I dry brushed a little white paint around the edges of my card to fit in with the shabby chic feel of this card.

You could alter the sentiments and embellies just a little, and this little bag could easily hold a Valentine's Day treat.

Thanks for stopping by!

Cheerio,
kathy

Believe Me True

Hello folks!  How has your new year been so far?  Feel like it has been forever since I have been here on the RRR blog.  So glad I get to share a project or two today!!!   Getting busy with the Valentines.  My first card uses scraps from my bin, along with the sweetest paper doll from Pretty Things for You.  I just love her!  I added baby pink seam binding which I wrapped around my chipboard heart.  I topped it off with a little pink sweetheart blossom.
My next card uses gorgeous papers from Raspberry Road Designs along with a German Dresden Cupid scrap.  I added diecuts and used some foam adhesive for dimension.  I used seam binding in Bay leaf - a beautiful aqua green color...one of my favorites!   That is it for me ....stay warm!  hugs, cherry

You Stole My Heart

Hi there crafty peeps!  I am back today to share a sweet Valentine's Day card I made with an older stamp set from My Favorite Things called Cute Critters.  I also used some beautiful ribbon from the Really Reasonable Ribbon store

I stamped my image in black Memento ink and then colored it with my Copic markers.  I then cut out a few Doodlebug patterned papers and the image with a Die-Namics Blueprint die set.  I die cut some grass and added it to the bottom of the image which was popped up on the card with foam squares.  I also added a die cut heart to the tree because the stamped heart on the tree was too small for me.  I stamped the sentiment onto Pink cardstock and popped that as well.  I added faux stitched lines with a white gel pen to the sentiment.  I added clear Wink of Stella and Journey glaze to each of the hearts to make them stand out a bit.

The ribbons I used for the band and bow are from the Really Reasonable Ribbon store.  I used Red Glitz Ribbon and Heart in Line on Hot Pink Grosgrain Ribbon.  I added some black thread and a hot pink button to finish off the bow.  I hope you enjoy my cute critter Valentine!  Remember to head over and check out the great Valentine's Day collection of ribbons.  Have a wonderful day!

Feeling Loved Because of You

Happy New Year everyone.  I'm so happy it's January and the hustle and bustle of the holidays is behind us.  I'm still in recovery mode, so I'm going to keep this post short and sweet.
This is a pretty basic shaped card with a little fun embossed background.  The pretty bow and the lovely Wild Orchid Crafts Roses from Really Reasonable Ribbon really steal the show.
The bow was created with two of the styles from the wonderful January Ribbon Club Assortment on my Bow-it-All V2.0

Love Notes Valentine Pocket with Tags

Happy New Year all you fabulous Paper Peeps!!!!! What a special honor it is for me to get to be the first person of the year  to share a project here at Really Reasonable Ribbon . Woot woot! I'm a lucky lucky girl!   Andddd being the first of the month... I created a project using the January Ribbon Club Assortment Sweetheart Collection which is totally pinkalicious!!!!
I had so much fun with this lovely selection I just about made tooooo many bows. Almost..but not quite. There's just enough for tags that fill the Love Notes pocket.

The patterned papers here are Graphic 45's Mon Amour..and of course I am in love with those teeny tiny rosebuds!!!!!  I added the sentiment inside a small painted resin frame and added every pink flower I could to embellish the front.  Rosebuds, Wild Roses, Sweetheart Blossoms, Coral Baker's Twine, and White Lace pair perfectly with the Ribbon Club Assortment.
Okay that's all for me wishing you all a happy and healthy and creative New Year!!! : ) G
