for the love of...

Following a recent vacation to the NW, I came across many wonderful vintage shops that have continued to inspire me. In these tags above I have attempted to bring a little of that vintage, shabby chic feel through a mix of color and trims. This 1" satin with grosgrain edge ivory ribbon is both soft and light...just beautiful. Also, the beatrice white crochet lace trim is perfect and find that you can usually find a place for it on most projects. Wishing you a wonderful Sunday filled with color and inspiration to get your week started!

Photo Album

Hello everyone and Happy Saturday :) Today I'm sharing a photo album I made using lots of Really Reasonable Ribbon.
My first picture is the front of my book.
Ribbon used White and Pink Double Ruffled Edge Ribbon

On the next 2 pages I used more Double Ruffled White Ribbon. I LOVE this stuff, it's perfect for scrapbooks, cards and layouts :) Also love my newest K & Company dp and the gold stickers I used :)
These 2 pages have pockets that hold pictures and tags. I haven't added any pictures because this book is a gift for Christmas :)
Here is another picture with the tags all out :)
On these 2 pages I used

I made a envelope pocket to hold a tag and pictures and then added a frame to the other side.
Here is a picture of the pocket tag out.
On this next page I used the same Amelia Lace , and I haven't finished adding ribbon and trims to these 2 pages yet :) But I wanted to share my book today.
And here is the back of my book! I used more Double Ruffled Ribbon for the 2 tags :)
Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!!
Hugs,
Cheryl

Sew Happy Container!

I love to alter containers!
I scooped this new one right up at Michael's the other day
and used some Really Reasonable Ribbon goodies to dress it up.

I decorated the front with sewing embellies.
And check out the cute RRR Air Mail Twine on the spool.

And see the cute yellow button

RRR sells buttons too

This one is from the Graffiti Love Chipboard Set
I added some RRR Red Jute String to the button.

Your project is not complete until you dress up the container handles!
I used RRR Yellow Double Ruffled Ribbon

I'm going to fill this container with small buttons & stick pins.
It will be great decor on my craft table.

Be sure to drop by the RRR Shop to get some ribbon goodies
for your next altered project

Decorate your Wedding With Pretty Ribbons!

Hi Everyone!
True :D here!

Well...my son and new daughter-in-law's wedding is over. It was beautiful! In part because of all of the pretty Really Reasonable Ribbon I used!
Bonnie has so many pretty colors and styles to choose from that it would be impossible to not be able to find what you need for any decor colors!

The ribbons I used in the following projects are:
White Satin
Teal Satin - currently out of stock...I think I used it all!  ;)
Cream Swirls
Please note that the satin ribbon roses on the flower girl's basket, ring bearer's pillow and the other items are made with white satin ribbon that I colored with Copic markers for the exact color I needed.

I made Kristin a practice/keepsake bouquet since she had a live bouquet for the wedding. I also made Kurt a practice boutonniere. ;)

I wrapped some pretty satin ribbon "french braid" style around a cylindrical vase so she would have a display stand for the bouquet.

It also served as a center piece for the head table at the wedding. I love double duty projects! :)

This is Kurt's practice boutonniere.

Most of the flower girl baskets and ring bearer pillows  I saw in the stores were cheesy and expensive so I made my own!
Here is the before....

Here is the flower girl basket after I worked my magic! ;)

This is my ring bearer pillow. It was super easy to make!

Here is a picture of the unity candle I made.

I thought it was a nice touch to make a personalized sentiment tag for the front! :)

Here are the guest book and pen. Again decorated with cream swirls and home-made satin ribbon roses.

The reception tables were decorated with my home-made favor boxes featuring Cream Swirls Ribbon.

*Edited*
Maryanne left a comment below that she would like to see a close up of a candy favor. Thanks for asking Maryanne! here you go....

These are the cards I made for the family tables.

This kissing ball was hung in the center of the head table.

I have shared the invitations before but thought I would again since I am posting everything else.

***EDITED***
Here is the video tutorial I promised this morning. Sorry it took me so long...YouTube was causing me issues! ;)
Remember that you can click on the 4 arrows in the bottom right hand corner of the video to view it in full screen. Then hit your "Esc" button to return to normal mode. ;)

I know this was a rather lengthy post so thanks for bearing with me.
I would like to send a special shout out to RRR's Bonny Garby...Thanks for all you do my friend!

Big hugs,
True ;D
