A Glorious Fourth

Happy Indepence Day to our BEAUTIFUL country (in just a few days).  What better way to celebrate than with RIBBONS and patriotic accents from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I used a nostalgique/vintage piece of ephemera as my focal point for this card.  It's attached to a piece of patterned paper with strips of Scor-Tape; and I also used the Scor-Tape to attach the navy blue doily die-cut that I slipped underneath the focal image.
I bundled some Ivory Burlap String with some Red Miniature StamensNavy Miniature Stamens and Ivory Miniature Stamens and placed that on the doily area.  Next, I tied bow with lengths of 1/2" Navy Winkle Ribbon and 1/2" Red Wrinkle Ribbon and attached those side-by-side atop the bundled items.  The next items I added were some Red Open RosesRoyal Blue Open RosesIvory Open Roses, as well as one White Bead Berry Cluster.
Over on the right-hand side of my card, you'll see a cute Red Plaid Covered Button from our Embellishments Section.  Underneath that, I tucked snippets of White Crochet Lace and Navy Micro Gingham.  They're topped with some Mixed Blues Miniature Sweetheart Blossoms.
There are SO many cute accents at Really Reasonable Ribbon in addition to all their amazing ribbons and trims.  I hope you'll stop by to do some shopping to celebrate the 4th of July!

Thanks for visiting,
Karen

All Cards Need Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hello to all of you paper-crafty, ribbon and flower loving friends!  Welcome by today as I share a series of cards I created for Really Reasonable Ribbon using a sweet line called Spring Market by Carta Bella.  I made several cards using this line, and as always....the cards are much sweeter when I've added some of the lovely touches from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I won't repeat the patterned papers, stickers, ephemera, chipboard, etc. for each card because every single one in this post uses that same Carta Bella Spring Market line.  I'll just let y'all know which RRR products I used on each card.  And I'll tell you this...Really Reasonable Ribbon ALWAYS has the perfect ribbons, trims, Mulberry Flowers and Embellishments to match everything we make.  I really mean it when I say that "All Cards Need Really Reasonable Ribbon".
Like all of my cards, this first card (above) was put together using strips of Scor-Tape; a fabulous Adhesive to help hold together your cards and projects for many years to come.  This first card also includes a length of the lovely Moss Green Seam Binding.
My second card includes some Mulberry Flowers including the Miniature Ivory Sweetheart Blossoms as well as Mixed Pink Sweetheart Blossoms.  I also bundled up some Ivory Burlap String and placed it underneath each flower cluster.  Did you know that we carry nearly 20 colors of Burlap String?  It's another fabulous trim that costs just ten cents per yard, and is the perfect touch for SO many products.
Card number three includes Cream Seam Binding, some Moss Green Seam BindingOpen RosesMiniature Ivory Sweetheart Blossoms and Miniature Pink Sweetheart Blossoms.  I also tucked in a few Double-Head Stamens.  I love them SO much!
My fourth card includes some White Seam BindingVivid Pink Seam Binding, and to perfectly match the colors in my sweet patterned papers, I used lots of GORGEOUS Sweetheart Blossoms including lots of flowers from the Miniature Sweetheart Blossoms in Mixed Purples/Lilacs and a WOC Green Mulberry Leaf, as well as Ivory Burlap String and (once again) lots of wonderful Double-Head Stamens.
The fifth card I'm sharing today incorporates my bow using a length of Cream Seam Binding, and just one lonely little Mixed Pink Sweetheart Blossom.  It doesn't matter if you use a little bit of embellishing or a whole lot.  Each card has some little touch of goodness from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
My sixth and final card for today uses just one extra touch.....and that would be the sweet little pieces of Solid Cream Baker's Twine tied from my three tags.  This AMAZING trim comes in over 30 gorgeous colors and costs just ten cents ($0.10) per yard.  There's a perfect color for every project and it's got so many fabulous uses.  You'd be surprised just how REASONABLE the products at Really Reasonable Ribbon really are.  Not only do they carry an awesome selection, but prices are low and shipping is very reasonable.  Today is a great day to treat yourself!
Thanks so much for stopping by.  I sure hope you'll join us in two short days from now for the monthly Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop.  YOU could be the lucky winner of the gorgeous Ribbon Club Assortment this month (shown above).  I hope to see you there.  There's always something FUN happening at Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Mother Gooose Canvas Board

Hi friends! Linsey here sharing my Mother Goose Mixed Media Canvas Board! This is one of my most favorite projects I've ever made to date and I hope you'll enjoy it too! Maybe even be inspired to create a mixed media project with ribbon and trim of your very own!
I used some White Crochet Lace Trims adhered with Mod Podge glue which works really well.
I hope you like it! I really enjoyed designing it! I find mixed media art to be very fun and carefree. Very little stress and lots of room for happy little accidents! 😊 Thanks so much for stopping by and until next time, happy crafting!

Easter Blessings

Hello Crafty friends and Happy Monday to you all! Today's Easter Blessings card was designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the beautiful Grosgrain Roses with Scalloped Edge Ribbon and Cindy Lace, I also used some Rose flowers and Pink stamens on my card for today.
On my card for today I chose to use this sweet little bunny die, and added some beautiful RRR Cindy Lace and a little pink rose to him. His tail has flower soft added to it, and the eye is done with viva pearl pen.  I Love this Cindy Lace, its so easy to work with and absolutely gorgeous! The ribbon is so sweet, and worked perfectly for my card today. The stamens and Roses were an added embellishing for my card.

The Flower die was colored using Copic markers, and the tag with sentiment was distressed using pink ink. I did add two roses to it as well.

Happy Mother's Day Easel Card with G45 A Place in Time

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Mother's Day is just one week away.  Are you ready?  If you're still searching for an idea for Mom, then today's card might come in handy.

This is a simple little 4.25" square easel card made with Graphic 45 Cafe Parisian and A Place in Time.  The background patterns are Cafe Parisian; the image from the June page in Place in Time. I did a little fussy cutting and layering of the image to add depth and dimension to the card.

I made the stopper by wrapping a panel of paper with Wild Rose Swiss Dot Grograin Ribbon.  Then I got out my trusty Zutter Bow-it-All Tool and tied a double loop bow.  This was glued over the ribbon strip and topped with an Ivory Butlap String Bow and button from my stash.  A second string bow cluster sits to the side of the card.  I topped this with gorgeous WOC Chrysanthemums and  a pair of Coral WOC Open Roses.  I love the way the flowers pull all the colors in the card together.

It really only takes an hour or so to make mom a lovely handmade card that she will cherish for years to come.  Really Reasonable Ribbon has everything you need to add the perfect finishing touches.

Thanks for stopping by!
Cheerio,
