Carrot Ornament/ Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hello everyone and happy Monday to you all! Cheryl here today with a fun little Carrot ornament I decorated using Really Reasonable Ribbons Seam Binding.

So I started with these carrot chipboard shaped ornaments that I bought at the dollar store, and knew instantly what I wanted to do with them. I came home and covered all 10 with design paper, and then sanded the edges and distressed with an orange ink, and vintage photo ink. Next I picked out my seam binding and started ruching it up, and cutting it into pieces, and then hot glued it to the top of the carrot for the greenery part I chose the Bay Leaf color. I then used some of RRR twine for the bow, and the little embellishment for the center. Love how these turned out and can't wait to finish them all for my tree for Easter.

Thank you so very much for stopping by and have a lovely day! Hugs to all, Cheryl

Trick or Treat jar with RRR

Hello crafty friends and Happy Monday to you all! Cheryl here today with a fun little jar I decorated for Halloween using the beautiful ribbon and twine from Really Reasonable Ribbon

I used a jar that holds my dew drops to decorate as it's nice to have them in the craft room to see. I tied the Quatrefoil ribbon in black around the top of the jar, an then hot glued my bow I made. Next I tied the happy Halloween tag using the orange twine, and then stuck some 3-D stickers to the front of the jar. This would be cute on a plan jar for holding candies too. I also made a bow out of the twine and tied it to the back.

Thank You Card Duo

When it comes to making Thank You cards, you might as well make at least two if you're making one anyway.  Let's face it.....we are BLESSED and we have a lot of Thank You cards to write.  Anyway, I decided to make two quick and easy Thank You cards combining trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon and sentiments from Bonnie Garby Designs.  You can read more here on My Blog.
I used the Many Thanks 2 Digital Stamp Set from Bonnie Garby Designs for the sentiment on each card.  I love all the different fonts in Bonnie's sentiments.  I cut (several) postage stamp rectangles from white cardstock and gingham JilliBean Soup patterned paper.  I layered all these pieces of paper using pieces of Scor-Tape.
I used White 3-D Foam Tabs to raise up the sentiment pieces, and I ran the Solid Black Baker's Twine underneath them.  There are several awesome colors of Solid Baker's Twine and even more color choices in regular Baker's Twine.  This amazing trim is just TEN CENTS per yard.  That means you'll get TEN YARDS of any color for just ONE DOLLAR.  Oh, do you see that pretty White Lace in the photo background?  Well, there's still a bit left.  You can still grab some of this sweet trim before it's gone.
Be sure to visit the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog often for lots of great inspiration.  I'm always grateful for your visits to My Blog as well.  Oh, and don't forget to stop by Bonnie Garby Designs to check out all the awesome digital stamps.  They all pair so nicely with the amazing products you'll find at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Stay creative.

Blessings,
Karen

Have a Blessed Easter

Welcome by my blog, everyone, and thanks for visiting me.  I'm sharing a sweet card that I created for Really Reasonable Ribbon using some of their fabulous ribbons and trims, Adhesives and other goodies.  It's always fun creating cards that incorporate trims, Mulberry Flowers and many of the other fabulous touches you'll find at RRR.  They're still flat enough to mail, but ribbons add so much texture and fun to cards and projects.
My first card uses white cardstock layered with some older Crate Paper patterned papers.  The darling Easter sentiments I used (on both cards as well as the bookmark) are from the Religious Easter Bundle from Bonnie Garby Designs.  You can find so many great digital stamp sets at Bonnie Garby Designs.  I used a postage stamp die-cut set to cut all the layers of patterned papers.  I ran a length of Sharon White Crochet Lace across my first card and a length of Apple Green Baker's Twine.  I topped the bow with a pretty Yellow Sweetheart Blossom by using some Scor-Tape Adhesive.
The second card is very similar and again uses the same dies to layer the patterned papers.  I ran a length of Lemon Baker's Twine around my second card, and I attached several Sweetheart Blossoms to this card as well.  The Lemon Baker's Twine was strung through a sweet 16mm Faux Pearl Heart Shaped Buckle Slide.  I also used some vintage scotch tape and lots of Scor-Tape to secure everything in place. The floral stamp and die-cut set I used on my first card are from Stamp Simply.
The bookmark was cut using scraps of the same patterned papers.  I added some Green Apple & White Gingham Ribbon to the bookmark along with more of the Sharon White Crochet Lace and some Solid Ivory Baker's Twine that was strung through the yellow button.  The sentiment, which is also from Bonnie Garby Designs, got some extra color and pizzazz by using Mowed Grass & Lemonade Oxide Inks and a Tim Holtz Stencil.  There's always a perfect trim at Really Reasonable Ribbon to help you create and tuck in a cute bookmark with your cards.
We hope you'll check out the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog for lots of great ribbon inspiration and news about special sales and promotions at RRR.  Thanks again for taking the time to visit me here today and please stop by again soon.  I'm always super grateful for your visits here, and I love hearing your thoughts about my cards.  Have a blessed week, and please be sure to share your art in lots of fun challenges.

Blessings,
Karen
