Welcome by today, everyone. It's Karen here sharing an Autumn card - even though it's still very hot here in the desert where I live. I'm very much looking forward to the cooler weather when I can wear my warm sweaters, cute boots and scarves; and not have to worry about my hot flashes. LOL Even though it's still warm here, it really is Autumn, so that's what I'm sharing today.
As you would guess from the name, Really Reasonable Ribbon carries OODLES of gorgeous ribbons, laces, trims and twines of all sorts at great pries. That's a given - and WOW, do they ever do a good job of it. You'll find every style ribbon in every color, texture, width and design you can image. However, did you know that RRR also carries awesome items such as Adhesives, Hair Accessories, Mulberry Flowers, Embellishments and more? They have a bit of everything, and I do hope you will stop by the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store to see it all (and do some shopping).
As is normally the case when I start making a card, there's A LOT going on here. This card started with a black cardstock base to which I added a piece of burnt orange corrugated cardboard and a piece of October Afternoon patterned paper. I machine stitched together these three mediums to create my base. I added some ephemera by way of a travel ticket, small Prima ticket, washi tapes, etc. The sentiment is from Stamp Simply Clear Stamps. I ran a width of Burnt Rust Seam Binding across my card, and I used another piece of that along with a piece of Black Seam Binding to create my bow. Well, we all know that I didn't stop there. I also tucked in some bundled Light Blue Burlap String as well as several Miniature Double Head Stamens, two Sweetheart Blossoms, and a Rusty Paper Clip that holds a small tag. On the small ticket, I also added a Rhinestone Embellishment.
Oh, my heart! I almost forgot to mention......be sure to mark your calendar so that you don't miss this month's RRR Blog Hop. As always, it starts on the 13th of the month; and one lucky person will WIN the December Ribbon Club Assortment. AND....(shhh...it's a secret, but.....) it's a gorgeous Christmas themed assortment - SO pretty. Thanks for visiting us today, and we hope to see you again soon (and then again on the 13th for sure). Have a ribbon-topped creative day, creative friends.
Blessings,
Karen
