Who am I?

Okay ladies, I'm having a bit of a crafty identity crisis.  I have no idea what my style is any more.

So........back in the day when I had time to follow my crafty desires, I knew who I was.  Lots of layers, precision cutting and coloring, bright colors, etc.

Now, I hardly ever have time to craft and when I do, it's just pandemonium!  I don't know what I'm doing, what I'm using, what kind of project I want to make.  Has this ever happened to any of you?

So, I'm searching for the new 'crafty me'......  You are likely to see a bunch of trial 'identities' while I play around.  Hang in there,  okay?

Today I have a couple of kinda CAS birthday cards.  I really want to embrace this style because I like it - and, well, when you have limited time it seems like this is the way to go.
Just not sure if I can pull it off..............

I accessorized this first card with a piece of 1-1/2" wide Tulip Grosgrain - (love that color!) and some Plum Baker's Twine.

The second card shows off some of the colors of our fun Sheer 3-Stripe Ribbon
I just love this stuff!!

Thanks for stopping by today!

  1. I think both cards are fabulous Bonnie. Good luck with reinventing your style. I too found myself in a bit of a crisis. Am privileged to be on 2 very different design teams. The one feeds my love for the girly images and the other allows me to explore just about anything I like. Am loving experimenting with the CAS look too. Just thought I'd share that you're not alone. Sorry I took up a lot of space... happy crafting! hugs Sharon

  6. Wow, I am so glad you posted this. As soon as I read it I realized that what you are experiencing might be the same woes I have been having lately. In having to create things to be seen as examples for a scrapbook retreat, I really have to mold myself to the masses which doesn't bode well for my own inner creativity. Your post makes me wonder if perhaps I can have the best of both worlds. Thanks so much for sharing!!
