Let There Be Peace

Hey there, everyone!  It's Karen Letchworth today sharing a fun card today that I created for Really Reasonable Ribbon using a fun new technique I saw on Pinterest.  This is a great way to use up little scraps of ribbon you might have laying around and don't know what to do with.  I used lots of great ribbons from the Ribbon Club Assortment and several other Really Reasonable Ribbon favorites.
I used two ornament die-cuts to cut the shapes from a piece of patterned paper and cut the ornament tops from shiny gold paper.  I tied some gorgeous Gold Metallic String on their tops.  Then, I used a piece of white card stock and strategically placed strips of ribbons and lace to fill in the die-cut holes using pieces of Scor-Tape to keep them in place.  You could try this technique with any die-cut shape (trees, leaves, hearts, etc.), and Really Reasonable Ribbon has all the perfect trims to help you achieve this look for any season or occasion.
I used pieces of all these sweet Really Reasonable Ribbon trims to achieve this look: Lipstick Red Seam BindingRRR Select Swiss Dots Grosgrain Green AppleMoss Green Micro GinghamBurlap Center Stitch GreenCanvas Color Band With Stitched Edge in RedJuliet Natural Crochet Lace1/4" Chevron Striped Twill CeleryRed and White Plaid Houndstooth RibbonDusty Olive Seam Binding, and 3/4" Red Striped Twill Chevron.  I also added a "peace" die-cut, and tied a long length of Solid Red Baker's Twine around the top of my card.
The Gold Metallic String is really a must-have for Christmas cards and projects.  You will absolutely LOVE it; just as much as you'll love ALL of Really Reasonable Ribbon's amazing ribbons, trims, twines, and laces.  Thanks for stopping by today, and have a great week.  Be sure to stop by Really Reasonable Ribbon to play along in their FUN CHALLENGE, for inspiration, and to check out all their fabulous ribbons, trims and fun new Embellishments, too!

Happy crafting,
Karen

A Little Trinket Box

Hi all,

I have a Design Team project I created for Really Ribbon Ribbon today. A little trinket box I created using some great ribbons, beautiful wild orchid flowers and some fun little trinkets that are new at the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store.

I do have an announcement before I get started, this is my second to last post I will be doing for the Really Reasonable Ribbon Design Team. I am really sad that I am leaving the team, they are such a great team to work with and Bonnie Garby is just amazing. I just want to say Thank You to Bonnie for having me on your team it has been a pleasure and I've had a great time using your beautiful ribbons and wild orchid flowers. Thank you Bonnie.

Here is my project -
This is my new Trinket Box. Yep, I made myself something for once. lol
I am so excited.  I just love it. I used the beautiful Blue Fern paper collection - Blush.
I am putting my charms and little trinkets inside.
So I used some Wild Orchid Flowers for the top along with the beautiful
Acrylic Rhinestone embellishments.  These are so beautiful! You gotta check these out.

Here is a great shot of two sides of my box showing the vivid pink seam binding and
I also used the Bow It All V3.0 to create my bow.

Here is a great shot of the sheer box pleats white ribbon I used around my edge of my lid.
I used some tiny strands of white pearls I had in my stash that I bought from JoAnn's a while back.

Here are a couple of photos showing the top of my box. I actually placed the seam binding bow down first and then laid my flowers around it, adding my tiny pearl
strands around the flowers. Then I added more flowers around the top.
I just love these little flowers they are just darling.

Just so you know, I have used this Sheer Box Pleated ribbon a few times and I just love it.
I have to say it's probably one of my favorite ribbons from the store as it's so versatile.

Supplies: Really Reasonable Ribbons -

Thank you all so much for stopping by today I so appreciate it. I hope you are inspired to use some of these items. I just love using the ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon as they are just gorgeous, and the flowers are just beautiful. Check out the items I used plus other wonderful items at the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store. Please leave me a comment as I love reading them.

Hugs and wishing you all a great crafty day,

Trick or Treat!

{judy} I love cute Halloween decor. I always liked dressing up as a kid (I work in a Theater now!), and love the colors of the holiday. My card today is a cute little greeting for a sweet friend.
I used a Sizzix tent card die, and created a little scene with my mummy and sparkly spiders (Petaloo), using two ribbons from the RRR Store: 3/8" Spider Webs on Black Satin Ribbon and 5/8" Gauze Print on Grape Satin Ribbon
I used each as a base for my die cut spider web (Stampin' Up!) and my mummy, as well as some loopy bows for my spiders' home. Can you see one hiding?
A sentiment from Inkadinkadoo on the tent topper completes the card!
Hope you have a great week -- and a fun Halloween!

Love, Blessings, Family Waterfall Folio Album

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Hurrah, hurrah!  It's finally fall and I am soooooo glad.  This is my favorite season of the year.  I love the crispness of the air, the colorful leaves and I super love taking a bite from a juicy red apple.  All these things inspired me to make this little Love, Blessings, Family Waterfall Folio album with ribbons from the October Traditional Christmas Mix Ribbon Club Assortment.
I love it when I can use a product in an unexpected way.  This Christmas Paint Splatter on White Grosgrain Ribbon works beautifully with my fall/apple themed album.
The album closure is made with Antique Gold Netting.   I love the open weave of this wonderful ribbon, and it is surprisingly soft and easy to work with, too.  To help you get a feel for the flow of this album, I prepared a very short YouTube video tour.  I hope you will enjoy it!

I'd love to hear your thoughts about this project in the comment section below.

Thanks for stopping by!

Through the Woods..

Hey there paper peeps!  Cherry here popping in with a post for Really Reasonable Ribbon.  We have had rain and wind storms the last two days, perfect weather for crafting (as long as the electricity doesn't go out).  I created a card and ornament...full of holiday cheer.

I just love using any little container...lids, mini tart pans, you name it...I'll use it!  Several RRR goodies were used including grass and red lipstick seam binding.  Also a few white spiral stamens.

Well that is it for me....enjoy!   hugs, Cherry
