Hello friends and followers.  This week we are sponsoring the all new and improved Party Time Tuesdays Inspiration and Challenge blog.  It is a double chance for you to win Really Reasonable Ribbon this week.  We are having our own Valentine's Day/Love + Ribbon themed challenge AND Party Time Tuesdays is having a Ribbon Themed Challenge that runs through Monday January 27th at 11:59pm.  So you can use your card to enter both of our challenges....as long as it has Ribbon!!!  Can't wait to see what you all make!

For you...

Hi there.  Today I have a little card creation made for RRR.   I used lipstick red and lace blue seam bindings.  I decided to use ribbons on both sides of my main focal point for fun.   I softened the bottom with a bit of Samantha white crochet lace along with a new stamp from Pink Persimmon.   I filled in my button card with buttons and sweet heart blossoms.   I love the cottage colors and patterns to this.  Hope you enjoy!  cherry

You Mean the World To Me

Happy Wednesday! How about something soft and elegant for today's blog post? I have been wanting to create a card using the lovely Sally White Crochet Lace Ribbon for a while but couldn't get the inspirations to flow for a while. I wanted a soft look on a card so the trim would pop out perfectly.

I found this blue-greenish background paper from my stash and added a vellum cardstock layer on top of it to soften the colors. Adding the sentiment with the trim makes the whole card look elegant and soft in my opinion. The bow ties very easily with this trim - and it stays there really well. I think the bow itself it just adorable!

What do you think? I just love how detailed the lace ribbon is and how lovely it adds interest to the card.

I hope you enjoyed today's project- Thank you for stopping by!

One more Birthday Card for my stash.....

Hi everyone.  Today I have another Birthday Card for my stash featuring a gorgeous Really Reasonable Ribbon bow.
I'm really going to try to stay ahead of schedule this year so I can send cards that will arrive on or [gasp] before the actual day......

I let the one pretty piece of butterfly design paper from Recollections dictate the color palette.  You can see it peeking out of the upper left square of paper.  I love this paper and have it in several colors.
The card design is based on Deconstructed Sketch #134.

It's really a pretty basic card.  I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from JustRite Stampers in black and cut and layered with Spellbinders Circle Dies.  You can see a little dimension with the cute little Martha Stewart butterfly punches.  I attached them with a little strip of 1/8" Scor-Tape.

Here is a close-up of my pretty double loop bow from Metal Gray Checkerboard Satin
I made this gorgeous bow with my Bow-it-All lickety-split.  I added the pretty Turquoise Sweetheart Blossom to the center.

I find that simple little double or triple-loop bows are my favorite.  They look great and add just the right touch.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

How's your Birthday Card stash?
Are you prepared for all your upcoming January and February birthdays??

I AM.   :)

Classy and Fabulous

Classy and Fabulous with RRR

Hello again, Ribbon Lovers! Kathy Clement here today with a classy and fabulous card featuring Really Reasonable Ribbon. This 5" x7" kraft base card has a gate fold opening and lots of fun little details . Let's take a peek:

RRR January 30 01

The quote on the pocket says, "A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous." I think a card should be, too, so I used the Couture paper collection from G45 and then added a two tiered bow made from black plaid ribbon to add that element. I tucked a couple of peacock feathers into the pocket, just for fun. I threaded a button with gold metallic string and added it to the top of my bow. And of course, I used my Bow-it-All tool to tie both! If you don't know how to tie these two tiered bows, Bonnie has a great video tutorial you can watch. It's easy once you learn how.

I used Glossy Accents on some of the chipboard banners.

The card focal and pocket were glued to the left hand flap of the front, as you can see here.

Here's the interior of the card.

Don't forget that Bonnie is celebrating her 4 year Blogoversary with a fabulous giveaway! You'll definitely want to stop by the RRR blog and sign up to win one of the three fabulous prizes she has up for grabs!

I LOVE Seam Binding By Jenn Cochran

Hi RRR Friends and Followers.  Jenn here today with a fun black, red and grey themed cared.  I have been thinking about what Really Reasonable Ribbons are my favorite.  It is so hard to choose just one.  Today I am featuring one of my favorites, the seam bindings.  I think this particular type of ribbon really holds its shape well when tying it into a bow.  I used two colors of seam binding for my card.  Black Seam Binding and Lipstick Red Seam Binding.  I have also added Bakers Twine in Gray Solid.  I finished off my bow with a Wild Orchid Sweetheart Blossom.  They are so petite and cute.  Perfect for bow centers. My image is from Crafters Companion.

Bingo Valentine Tag Holder Tutorial & Sweet Card

Hello Friends!!
Heather here and I hope you are having a fabulous day!
Today I would like to share with you a Valentine Tag Holder that I designed using some lovely ribbons, trims and goodies from Really Reasonable Ribbon!!
If you watched my video from the January Blog hop, then you would have expected this coming...LOL.
I used a Big Bitty Bag Pink with Polkadots and my Pink Clown Bingo Collage sheet  on which I have the clown in a flowery suit, a traditional red suit and a primitive suit.
I also used some of the lovely ribbons from this month's Sweetheart Assortment.
Above you will see the Shocking Pink Checkered Ribbon bow that I made using my Bow it all tool all tied together with some Peppermint Baker's Twine
Below you will see my layers of ribbon, starting with the Satin Swiss Dots ribbon, topped with the  Mixed pink hearts,
then a tiny bow made with Diamond Satin Hot Pink ribbon.  I tied a sweet little bow out of Peppermint Baker's Twine and glued down my Baby Pink Mulberry rose  and berrylicious button.
The Sally white crochet lace peeks out the one side of my little album, and I created a tie closure with the
Diamond Satin Hot Pink ribbon.
One last look at the front.

This little tag holder book can hold up to 6 tags that will peek out the top.
So...I guess you can maybe guess what you will see on my next post :0)  LOL
Hopefully my video will upload soon and you can watch it on my youtube below.
Now for my "Sweet" card.
I used some collage sheets from my etsy shop to create this card.
Pink banner, Blue Banner, Chocolate Banner bases, Text Banners, Text Boxes, and Valentine Scallop Focals.
I used some more fabby ribbons and trims...from RRR!
I used my Bow it all to create all three bows!
I used the Dots light Pink organza and  salmon seam binding for the bow at the top.  As well as a mulberry rose in deep ivory.
I also used  some more of the  salmon seam binding and some cream seam binding to create the double bow at the bottom. Another Mulberry Rose and Latte Button tied with Peppermint baker's twine.  Cupid and Love Die Cuts are from SVG's from Cindy's Store.
Then I used a new fav of mine the chocolate brown seam binding for my tiny bow.  Another Latte button and peppermint baker's twine.
Here is a look at my hidden tags :0)
Here are the tags all by their pretty little selves :0)
I used my hearts & Cupidand valentine tags sheets below.
Precious!!
I hope that I have inspired you to get your ribbons and trims out and create something beautiful!!
Thank you for visiting us at Really Reasonable Ribbon today!!
Hugs
Heather
