Hippity Hop

Easter's on its way! And I have a cute little Carrot Cone Treat Holder to leave for the Easeter Bunny or to share with a friend.

My carrot was constructed using a tutorial that I found HERE at Jana Eubank's blog. The paper, border sticker, and mini alpha stickers are all from Jillibean Soup. The ribbon is Moss Green 1/4" Grosgrain. I love how it matches the green decorative tape so well. So fun! And then I used Orange Baker's Twine to attach my little tag. Just the perfect little touch!

Have a Happy Easter! Aphra

Can Crochet Lace be Masculine? :)

Hello! As you can see by the title of today's post, I have a question...can crochet lace be masculine? Well, you can decide based on my card today! I have used some 1.5" Brown Crochet Lace from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store! I have also added a bit of natural jute string to the Tim Holtz snaps on the bottom of the card.

This fabulous moose image is from the Father's Day set from Our Daily Bread Designs. The DP is from Prima, and the sketch I used on this card is from this month's I Heart Sketches.

Thanks so much for visiting today! Have a great day!

Doggone birthday

I have often been accused of going a bit over the top when it comes to adding bits and bling to my projects (my DH says I've never caught onto the principle of "less is more"!), but sometimes I just can't help myself!  You know - googley eyes, brads, twine, micro beedz, etc. etc. etc.!  You can see the picture!
This card is for a very dear friend, a dog lover, who has a birthday next week.  I have a wonderful stash of animal print ribbons, like this paw print one (the leash) from the animal section of the RRR shop.  I've also found that the jute ribbon makes for a perfect floor rug on cards or layouts. (There are lovely colors - check the shop.)
I hope she likes it.

Double The Fun With a 2 Tone Bow!

Hi Everyone!
True :D here.

I wanted to show you a card I did using 2 colors of contrasting ribbons.
I used Really Reasonable Ribbon's ~ Satin with Grosgrain Edge ribbons in Fuchsia and Moss.

This ribbon comes in many beautiful colors. View them all HERE.
One of the best ways to add them to your collection is to order the pre-mixed assortments.
Right now, Bonnie has them in both Pastel...

...and Dark for just $3.99 for each 10 yard set! :)

They are super beautiful in real life!!!

I would just like to take a second here and remind you about our "Violets, Lilacs, and Plums...Oh My!" challenge that is going on right now. There is still plenty of time to enter!
Click HERE for all of the details.

And on a special note:
This will be my last post before the new design team starts and I would like to tell the girls that will be exiting at the end of this month, that it has been a true pleasure working with you. Your work has both awed and inspired me! Lot of love to you all!

Thanks for dropping by!

Hugs,
True :D
