Sending Smiles...

Hello!  Kerri here, and I wanted to share I card I made using this adorable image  from Lili of the Valley called By the River.  Sometimes it's hard to come up with fun embellishments for masculine cards, but this Black Jute Ribbon is just perfect!!!  Check out all the other fun colors of Jute that RRR carries HERE!  I also used some beautiful Double Ruffles White Ribbon, and I think it works:)  The dp is Basic Grey Oliver.

I also made another hair bow using this super fun Bright Gumball Grosgrain along with some 1 1/2" Bright Pink Grosgrain.   What little girl wouldn't love this? :)  That's it for me!  Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Transform a Halloween Trick Into a Real Treat With Ribbon!

Hello!
It is Saturday so it is my turn to post a project! :)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was so excited when I opened up my latest package from Really Reasonable Ribbon and saw the adorable "Halloween" ribbon of the month collection!
Bonnie has such a knack for putting just the right ribbons together for her sets.
I know you all have "special" ghosts and goblins that come to visit on Halloween. Maybe a special teacher or friend you would like to treat. Well....here is a quick and easy way to make a nice sweet gift.
Wal-Mart (and most other stores) have their Halloween candy out already which is great for us crafters. I picked up some little plastic jars filled with different kinds of candy for just $3.00 each! They are a tad ugly but I knew how to make them "gift worthy"!
I made tags, stamped them with some Penny Black stamps, and decorated them with assorted pieces of the September Ribbon of the Month collection. They took me just a few minutes to do and will make some little pumpkins squeal with delight!
You could also use Halloween stickers to decorate your tags instead of stamping. There are some really cute ones in the craft stores now!
Halloween is still a ways off so you have tons of time to do this too.
Head on over to Really Reasonable Ribbon and sign up for their ribbon of the month club.
You can also buy the individual ribbons if you would prefer.
Now through 9/12, Bonnie is giving 10% off by using the promotional code VACASALE in the promotional code area on the first page of checkout.
Don't forget, we are doing a DESIGN TEAM CALL, so if you love playing with pretty ribbons, check out the details HERE.
Thanks so much for dropping by!
If I say "Trick Or Treat" will you leave us a comment?
TRICK OR TREAT!!!! ;)
Hugs,
TGIF!!
Happy Friday everyone!  I thought I'd share a quick layout with you.  On this layout I took (yep, my "favorite" one again, lol) ribbon, bunched it, stapled it and then glued buttons on top.   This is our little puppy, who has already trampled my flower beds.  The layout is from a Becky Fleck sketch.  You will also see I added some pretty velvet ric rac and more dotted yellow ribbon at the bottom.  Be sure to check out the fabulous ribbons in the store HERE.
Think Pink
Hi, It's Gini and I have a very pink card to share with you today. I used the Angel image from Karen's Doodles. and highlighted the main image with 1.5" satin rose ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I made the rose by putting a large Zot dot on a square of paper and attaching the ribbon length to this. I then started twisting the ribbon, while I wrapped it around the flower center. Then I used Fabri-tac Glue to hold the whole thing down and added it to my card. This rose takes about 30 seconds to make, but really looks very luxurious.
You have until September 14th to join our flower challenge - all you have to do is have some type of flower on your card and ribbon. How easy is that?
