CAS Motivational Cards

Hi friends! Linsey here with you today sharing some quick and easy cards that pack a punch! These were super fun and fast to put together and I love that! I find that the 1/8" Diagonal Stripe Ribbon Black is one that I keep coming back to when I make something crafty. It has become a staple in my ribbon collection and it just coordinates and looks great with everything!
Here, I added a stripe of ribbon to each of the left side panels to fill in the space between the stamped image and edge. It creates a nice visual and keeps the card clean and simple. 1 card was stamped in a bright rainbow of colors and the other was stamped in a pastel rainbow of color. I like how both turned out. The sentiment was stamped in black and clear heat embossed for more effect. A few enamel and bling dots and done. Like I said, these came together so quick!
And I hope you enjoyed seeing them! Thanks so much for stopping by today! Happy crafting!

Happy September!  I have two fun Halloween cards to share for Really Reasonable Ribbon.
Old fashion spooky!  I used both Orange Seam Binding and Burnt Rust Seam Binding.
I used some fun die cuts from Cheery Lynn, paper scraps, and stickers.

Hope you enjoy!  Thanks for visiting the RRR blog, Cherry

Happy HALLOWEEN Card!

Hello everyone, and Happy Labor Day to you all!

Today I have a sweet little card I created for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the beautiful Brown Satin, and the sweet little Itsy Bitsy Spider Grosgrain Ribbon from the RRR Store.  I love the Halloween ribbon you will find here under the holiday ribbons, it's absolutely darling, and these spiders are the cutest spookiest little guys you have ever seen...hehehe coming from the gal who hates spiders......hehehehehehe.  Oh my!

Anyways for my card today I chose to use a card base I had previously cut using the cricut machine. I have some of these set aside so I can use them. I then added a Cheery Lynn doily cut using the design paper from Tricks and Treats pebbles stack. The flowers are also a design paper polka dots cut out using Cheery Lynn Designs Tea Rose Small strip die. I did use the Glass Flower Technique and it can be found here on my blog under Tutorials. I have several videos on this using different techniques on the flowers then doing the glass technique, super fun!

The little tag is also from the same paper collection.

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a lovely day!

Hugs to all,

Ghostly Greetings Halloween Card

Hello there paper peeps! Just dropping in with a frightfully delightful greeting card I created with the new September Ribbon Club Halloween Assortment.
Isn't it just fabulous? A great mix of traditional Halloween colors and patterns punched up with some fresh and vibrant new additions to the holiday  theme.

I created a very fun and festive card....
Isn't it just too much???? I love me some layers!
I know this doesn't quite take the record for the most paper layers I've added to a card...but it's close.
The juxtaposition of the living and the dead with all these glorious flowers arranged on a skull in a cloche is just creepy in a beautiful way.
I've got some altered chippies here and a double layer bow.
A few prills and twine finish off this card with great detail.

Okay that's all for me. Wishing everyone a happy and productive day : ) G

Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge #171 - Anything Goes with Ribbon Theme

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge here at Really Reasonable Ribbon. Please scroll down to the next post for the winners of the last challenge.

The theme for Challenge #171 is Anything Goes with Ribbon.
Create a card, layout, multi media piece, tag, ATC, hair bow, you name it. Just be sure to follow the theme above and use ribbon, lace or trim somewhere on your project.

*******************

Here is a little inspiration from our design team for challenge #171 to get you started.  All of the sample projects feature ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

************************

Now, let's see your Anything Goes creations!
We will be selecting our top three favorite projects to feature, so stop back on September 15th to see our picks along with our next challenge theme.

Here's what you need to do:
* Create a new project using the posted theme. A layout, card, ATC, home decor item, hair bow, or anything you can think of provided it fits the weekly theme.
* You may enter up to 6 projects, but you're asked to provide newly designed projects. No back-linking please.
* All projects must also include some sort of ribbon, lace or trim.
* A maximum of 6 entries per person per challenge please.
* Post your project on your blog or an online gallery (using code RRR171) and link it here with the Inlinkz tool below. Please provide a direct link to your post, not an entire blog.
* You have until Wednesday September 13th at 11:59 PM Eastern time to enter your projects. Thanks so much for playing and good luck.

PLEASE consider turning off your word verification.
It would be a great help to us if you would consider turning off your word verification if it's active on your blog. To do this is really easy and all you need to do is go to Customize > Settings > Comments > then scroll down to where it says comment moderation and select always (this won't stop anybody leaving you a comment but they won't show on your blog until you approve them). Then scroll down to show word verification for comments? and select No.
We love to visit your blogs and leave comments on all the terrific entries, but the word verification really slows us down. :o)
