Easy Paper Baskets

Hi friends! Linsey here today and I'm sharing these little paper baskets that were the easiest things in the world to make! They come in perfect timing for all those upcoming Spring occasions like Easter, May Day and Mother's Day. Change up the patterned papers and you can make these fun baskets for birthdays or any other occasion/holiday you can think of! Super simple, fast and easy! Love it!
Here's the easy paper basket tutorial on how to assemble them. It seriously takes about 1 minute to put together. Another plus is that the little square pieces of patterned paper needed are so small, they are great for using up scraps! I decorated my basket handles with the simple and pretty Cindy White Crochet Lace and added a single WOC Sweetheart Blossom in Ivory to either side at the handle base.
I hope you like these fun little paper baskets and I hope you'll try some of your own! Make sure to add your gorgeous Really Reasonable Ribbon to make your projects super special! Happy creating!

A Joyful Easter

Hi and happy Sunday folks!  Cherry here at the RRR blog.  I have a fun Easter plaque to share.

I used a base chipboard piece from Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts and painted it with a custom chalk paint color.

I distressed the plaque for a worn appearance and added my seam bindings in both baby pink and Peacock alley.  I added some gorgeous Pastel Anemones.  These flowers are gorgeous.  From here I added some Cotten Candy Twine wound into my flowers.

Hope you enjoy!!  Hugs, Cherry

Sunshine

Hello everyone, and Happy Saturday to all! Today's card was created using beautiful ribbon and embellishments from Really Reasonable Ribbon . I am super pleased with the way this one turned out. And LOVE LOVE LOVE this ribbon! Makes for easy bows!
I love the floral pattern paper I chose, it started with a small scrap piece from Crate Paper Line I found in my stash, called "Little Bo Peep".  I LOVED it so much that I had to work this into my card for today. I had enough to do 2 layers, then to my surprise I found 1 more sheet in my stash, so I cut out the circle piece with that.
The ribbon is the beautiful Geranium PinTaffeta ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I added a big beautiful Pearl to the center.

Flowers were cut using a Daisy Strip die and coordinating design paper.  They are done using the Glass Flower technique that can be found here under my tutorials.  I added the Resin Flowers to the centers of my die cut flowers. LOVE the look of these, as they are so pretty! There are many colors in an assortment pack, and I find myself using these more and more. They also are beautiful on the corners of the cards for embellishing. I also added some Green Leaves in the 30mm size and some branches for fillers.

The sentiment tag was found in a drawer where I keep a bunch of tags and such, and I thought it went perfect with the color combo here, so I added it :)

Lastly I did add sewing in a pale pretty yellow thread :)
Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

hugs to all,
Cheryl

We will be selecting our top three favorite projects to feature, so stop back on March 17th to see our picks along with our next challenge theme.

* Create a new project using the posted theme. A layout, card, ATC, home decor item, hair bow, or anything you can think of provided it fits the weekly theme.
* You may enter up to 6 projects, but you're asked to provide newly designed projects. No back-linking please.

* A maximum of 6 entries per person per challenge please.
* Post your project on your blog or an online gallery (using code RRR159) and link it here with the Inlinkz tool below. Please provide a direct link to your post, not an entire blog.
* You have until March 15th at 11:59 PM Eastern time to enter your projects. Thanks so much for playing and good luck.

PLEASE consider turning off your word verification.
It would be a great help to us if you would consider turning off your word verification if it's active on your blog. To do this is really easy and all you need to do is go to Customize > Settings > Comments > then scroll down to where it says comment moderation and select always (this won't stop anybody leaving you a comment but they won't show on your blog until you approve them). Then scroll down to show word verification for comments? and select No.
We love to visit your blogs and leave comments on all the terrific entries, but the word verification really slows us down. :o)

I Love You All Occasion Greeting Card

Hey there Peeps! Happy first to all of you. And it's a happy first for me as well because I get to share a project created with the new March Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
What a colorful collection of satin and grosgrain ribbons!

I was so inspired by the Daffodil Checkerboard Ribbon that matched the Petal Lane Collection that they could have been made to go together.

Okay that's all for me. Wishing all of you a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative : ) G
