Sweetheart Lovebirds

LOVEBIRDS

Hello everyone.  Today I wanted to share a card I made for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the beautiful Grosgrain Polka dots from this months ribbon club.

On my card I used the ribbon to create my bows for the sides of my card. Next I used the beautiful flowers that Bonnie carries at the Really Reasonable Ribbon shop. They are called Cosmos and can be found here. Next I used all CottageCutz dies for the Sweetheart Lovebirds, heart, bow, and border. The dp is super cute and is from American Crafts. Next I used dew drops for the corners. The Lovebirds are colored with Copics and then I added some white gel dots to the blue one. Lastly, to complete my card, I added sewing in brown.

Thank you for looking and hope you all have a wonderful day!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Valentine

Now that the holidays are over...I'm in full on Valentine project mode! I've been busy adding hearts and ribbon and glitter to everything for the past week.  Today I made this sweet card with a black and red color scheme....not traditional....but definitely vintage.
I'm just loving this poofy bow. I started with Double Faced Satin and topped it off with Red Gingham and Cherry Bakers Twine.
I hope you all enjoy a happy and productive day and find some time to be creative : ) Ginny

Recipe for love

Steadily making headway with packing the last of Christmas away.   Kinda nice to have bare clean spaces to work with.   Good time to do some dusting.   I have been slowly bringing out some Valentine goodies to play with.  I love these bright happy colors....pairing my favorite red with aquas and turquoise.  I created this for RRR using May arts 1.5 inch light blue crochet lace.  My new fave...I have this in pink too and it is adorable. Nice wide lace which makes a great border.  I also used red seam binding, twine, and gorgeous buttons.    I created little mini envelopes ready to fill with mini candies or love notes along with some diecut hearts that I decked out with flowers and the cutest faux wax seals.  Hope you enjoy!  hugs, cherry

Feeling Loved......

It's so nice to feel loved, right?

Bonnie from Really Reasonable Ribbon here today to share my first Valentine's Day cards.
I made this beauty using a variety of ribbons from the new January Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
Ain't it purdy?

Join now and receive a fun new themed assortment of ribbon each month.
What a fun way to build your ribbon stash so you always have just the right ribbon to go with every project.

Here's a peek at the inside sentiment.

I used the little ribbon flags below the sentiment to add some additional color.
This is a great way to use the short leftover ribbon pieces that you never want to throw out.

The little cutie below was made with my Silhouette Cameo.
I've got to start using this tool more.  What a fast and easy card.
Just cut it out and add a pretty bow!

Both bows were made on my Bow-it-All Tool.

PLEASE consider turning off your word verification.
It would be a great help to us if you would consider turning off your word verification if it's active on your blog. To do this is really easy and all you need to do is go to Customise > Settings > Comments > then scroll down to where it says comment moderation and select always (this won't stop anybody leaving you a comment but they won't show on your blog till you approve them). Then scroll down to show word verification for comments? and select No.
We love to visit your blogs and leave comments on all the terrific entries, but the word verification really slows us down. :o)
