Happy I Do Day !

Hi everyone, Sarah here with a card I created using 5/8 Dark Satin w/Grosgrain Edge .

This ribbon is so  pretty and so easy to work with, makes for an awesome bow.

I used an older VLV sketch , some paper from Forever In Time collection .
Glittery butterfly and rhinestones from M's . SU sentiment.



I scheduled this post to  go live while I am on vacation.
I am out of town for a few days with DH and some friends .
We are in Cape Breton,NS.

Ribbon Necklace!

Hello, it's Connie! I am so excited to share my project with you today! I was at a popular accessories store a couple of months ago, where I saw a necklace made out of ribbon, and I thought...I could do that! So here is what I came up with!

I started with three strands of the pink organza ribbon from the Really Reasonable Ribbon store. I added the broach on all three pieces of ribbon. I then put different beads, a black bead, a larger pink bead and an iridescent teardrop bead each to one of the three ribbons about an 1 1/2" apart. Once I added all the beads, I then loosely braided the ribbon strands together, and capped off the ends with special ribbon clasps!

This was my first time making a necklace with ribbon, and did not think to take pictures of it as I was going along. If you would like, next time I will try to put together a little tutorial for you all!

Satin Ribbon with the Bow Easy!

Good Morning Happy Sunday!!!! I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend and those of you in the US Happy 4th of July!!!!

Crystal here and today I would like to share with you a creation I made with some Yummy 5/8 Satin Ribbon, and the Bow Easy!!! I just LOVE the Bow Easy, its soooo easy to make the perfect bow, guess that is how it got its name LOL!!!

Isn't this ribbon, sooo beautiful???? This fabulous color you can purchase in a variety pack, I have to say I LOVE this satin ribbon :))) I find myself using it on so many projects, its so easy to work with and just so beautiful!! HMMM Without the bow easy I don't think I could ever get my bow this perfect, come check it out HERE!!! Also for this creation I also drew a scene with this adorable SCACD image!!!

Happy Birthday Bag

Here is a sweet bag finished off with a pretty Satin bow.

I use my eclips to cut scallop bag from light blue cardstock Sponge all edges of scallops with brown ink. Stamp “a happy birthday” sentiment and flowers on front of bag. Assemble the bag with tacky tape. Thread Satin ribbon through hole and tie in a bow. Stamp sentiment on blue cardstock. Stamp “wishing you” sentiment on a strip of white cardstock and attach under bow. Add pearls.

Stamps - The Stamps of Life (daisies2garden)
Cardstock - Discount Cardstock (Baby Blue Light Prismatic 70#)
