Sympathy in Pink

{judy} Today I a sharing a sympathy card - one that was actually designed to be sent for the loss of a pet. But it certainly could be used for the loss of a loved one too. The sentiment comes from Sweet 'n Sassy's Kitty Love Clear Stamp Set.

I stamped my sentiment using VersaFine Onyx Black. Stitching, pearls, ribbon, and roses, help make for an elegant sympathy card for a pet or a loved one. I hand cut the banner for the sentiment. I used Memory Box Brandywine designer paper.

Girly Posh Mini Album Page

 Hello everyone , Cheryl here with a page I designed for a Mini Album I am working on for my Grandbaby Chloey who is due to arrive this month!!! Wooohooo, can't wait to meet her!!! I am loving how my album is turning out, and I used LOTS of beautiful Really Reasonable Ribbon on this page today!

So for this page I used the beautiful Satin Double faced ribbon in Hot Pink 5/8" wide for my BOW! On the interactive part where the photos will go inside I used the Black Sheer Box Pleat Trim.  I hot glued it, and then added some bling. Next I added some of the Double Ruffled Edge Satin in Azalea 1 1/2" thick, cut in half and layered for a double ruffle layered look.

 I did add some WOC flowers, random flowers, and glass leaves to my layout for today. I used feathers, and some swirl bling for my page as well.  I can't wait to finish my album and share in a video with you all!

 I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE how all the ribbon and embellishments look on this Posh Paper! I hope my daughter loves it too! I figured this will be Chloey's album for when she is in her toddler years. I will have to work on an actual BABY album, and have plenty of time to do so :)

Sweet Blossoms

Hello everyone! Today's card was designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the Beautiful Double Ruffled Edge Ribbon in brown.

For my card I made a double bow using the Beautiful Ribbon that Bonnie Carries. It's perfect for making bows. Next I used CottageCutz Blossom Branch die for my flowers and branch. The Beautiful frame is a new CottageCutz Elites, and I absolutely LOVE this frame.

A Happy Hello

I am sharing a valentine I made for my college sophomore daughter using dies from CottageCutz and some fabulous ribbon and twine from Really Reasonable Ribbon!

 

My little elephant is a girl, so she has painted her toes pink! I hand cut the little tag, punched a hole, and added a little stamped sentiment ("a happy hello") from Stampin' Up! 

The Sherbert Satin Ruffle ribbon and Raspberry Baker's Twine are from the Really Reasonable Ribbon store. Oh do I love pink~!
There are many other colors available too, so be sure to take a look!

I used Elephant Peeker, Picket Fence Border, and the Scalloped Doily for my dies from CottageCutz. 

My daughter lives 700 miles away, so I hope this little sweet elephant brings her some sweet love and cheer in her mailbox!

I'm Nuts!

The leaves are falling here, and all the squirrels are carrying things in their chubby little cheeks. This adorable new release from Whimsie Doodles, Nuts About You, is perfect for our fall weather! I love that this image can easily be suited for a masculine or feminine greeting!

The main image is printed on Georgia Pacific CS and then colored with Copics. I paper pieced the acorn and then used the same paper (Cosmo Cricket Nutmeg) for the sentiment. My ribbon is Really Reasonable Ribbon's Aqua Satin Double Ruffled Ribbon - one of my favorites! A little bling and my two nutty squirrels are ready for the mail!

Pinks and pearls and ribbon - my favorite things on a card!


It is so nice to receive a "thinking of you" card for no reason at all - sometimes those are the best kind of greetings! I made this for a friend - just to send for fun. My sentiment is from TLC Creations and is printed on Brandywine Memory Box designer paper. I love this paper and I tend to hoard DP that has pictures (like the flowers), so I am determined to use more of that this year!

The ribbon - Pink Satin Double Ruffle -  is one of my favorite shades of pink and comes in various widths. It ties up beautifully too! Click on the photo for a close-up!

Hello everyone , today I'm sharing another Z-Gate Fold designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon.This one I made for my daughters friend, it was her 15th birthday Saturday.

My daughter was picked up in a Limo and they went shopping, photo shoot, and out to dinner, how fun! She loved my card and will use it to house the pictures they took from her birthday! 

 My daughter wanted me to keep this card pretty simple , no flowers, but loved the Really Reasonable Ribbon Leaves idea. I used the Leaves to hold together the banner that says HAPPY!

I really LOVE making these cards , they are super fun, and have so much room for pictures and writing. You can even make a couple of pockets. On this one I made the pocket on the back of the card. Sorry I didnt take a pictue :(

So this last picture is how we wrapped the card. We ended up putting money inside for her, and then wrapped it with Tulle, and I used

Butter Cut Out Cookies are My Favorite

Hi, Dawn here today to share a couple fun ideas for packaging some goodies and making it a double gift. Really Reasonable Ribbon  is having a fun week of sharing Holiday ideas and Recipes. Today I am going to share my favorite recipe for Butter Cut out cookies - it has been used by my family for more years then I can count.

This fun sleigh is from Creative Cuts and More and available in many colors.

I chose to decorate with pattern paper from my stash and a few scraps of my favorite ribbons.

I used my Bow Easy Tool

and White Satin with Gold Edges to make that fun bow.

 The Red Satin Double Ruffle Ribbon was used to line the inside of the sleigh

Now You know I had to add some candy to my sleighs- these will be decorations that go on top of the platters of cookies I will be giving away.

 I wanted to share these cute little cube boxes for a few more ideas to package homemade candy or

even that fancy purchased pieces. These will look adorable as an extra gift on top of my platters.

The best thing is I got to use so many extra smaller pieces of ribbon to decorate.

So how about the best, melt in your mouth Butter cookies.

2-1/4 cups flour

1-1/4 teaspoon Baking Powder

1 cup (4 sticks) Real Butter -salted (softened)

1 cup sugar

2 eggs beaten (room temp)

1 teaspoon real vanilla

mix together flour, baking powder and put aside.

Cream together softened butter,sugar,beaten eggs, and vanilla. Once nice and fluffy start adding the flour blend gradually. Once all blend make a large ball and wrap in wax paper and place in refrigerator/freezer for at least an hour or overnight to rest.

When ready to make, grab a hunk of dough and roll out on a floured counter with a floured rolling pin.

Use fun cookie cutter shapes to make cookies.

Bale  in a 350 oven for 8-10 minutes. They can be decorated with your favorite icing.

Teddy Envelope Easel Card

Hello everyone and Happy Monday to all! Today's Envelope Easel was designed using Really Reasonable Ribbon's Beautiful Satins, lace and double ruffled edge ribbon.

For my bows I used different widths of Pink Satin.  I LOVE all the Satins that Bonnie carries.  They are sooo BEAUTIFUL and easy to work with!!  For the roses I used Hot Pink Satin.  Next I used the White Satin Double Ruffled Edge ribbon to make a border and then added some Noelle Crocheted White Lace in the middle of it.

Not Too Early to Think of Christmas!

Hello! I have been in full swing making Christmas cards, and let me tell you, the Really Reasonable Ribbon store has so many wonderful ribbons for ANY Christmas card! I have used two of the yummy ribbons in this month's ribbon club assortment. Some wonderful red ruffled satin ribbon layered with some white crochet lace!

This beautiful Christmas Door image is from Our Daily Bread Designs. It was colored with copic markers, and then cut out with a label 17 nestabilities.

Oragami Diamond Fold!

Hello! I needed to make some b-day invites for my daughter, and thought of this fun fold! I saw this wonderful Origami Diamond Fold tutorialon YouTube by my dear friend Wendy! It really is super simple with a big WOW factor! :)

The fab ribbons I have used on this card is from the Really Reasonable Ribbon store.
I layered the white ruffled satin ribbon with some thinner teal satin ribbon, tied in a bow with a bow easy!

The fun tea set is from There She Goes stamps, which was stamped and then layered on a lacey square nestabilites from spellbinders.

Vintage and Ribbon are the perfect mix!Check out my new cards with a touch of Vintage Charm. 

 I added RRR Crochet Lace Trim to the top of my patterned paper.

And added a splash of Red Gingham to the bottom.
