Here's My Heart

Really Reasonable Ribbon-Valentines Day, Kathy Clement, Mulberry Flowers, Coral Rose Check Ribbon

Hello, Friends! Here's My Heart just in time for Valentine's Day!  I've loaded this Victorian style wall hanging with so many beautiful mulberry flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon!  Then I tied it all together with lots of feminine 3/8" Coral Rose Check Ribbon.  It's my take on a tussy mussy, and I had so much fun putting it all together!

I dressed up my tussy mussy with:

Happy Birthday

When it comes to birthdays, you can always count on Really Reasonable Ribbon to have all the perfect ribbons, trims, twines, and all things spooled to help you create birthday cards, banners, treat bags, and everything you need to throw a proper Birthday Party!  For this Birthday card, I combined some of those sweet trims with a sentiment from Bonnie Garby Designs.  This is always a winning combination.
I used white cardstock and I stamped my bright fun background with various colors of oxide ink.  I layered that onto some colorful cardstocks.  Next. I ran a length of Blue Jay Seam Binding, Bay Leaf Green Seaming Binding and Summer Rose Pink Seam Binding across the middle of the card to blend in all the colors in my card.  The sentiment is found in the Birthday Greetings 2 Stamp Bundle at Bonnie Garby Designs, and I cut it with a Taylored Expressions scalloped die.
I added a few of the pretty Rhinestone Flatback Embellishments to my card.  There are several lovely Embellishments, several great Adhesives, loads of great Mulberry Flowers, Baker's Twine and SO much more.  I tied some Solid Apple Green Baker's Twine around my card to accent the sentiment spot.
You'll always find lots of great inspiration here on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog and this is also the best way to learn about special sales and promotions.  Thanks so much for stopping by again today, and please visit again soon.  It's always appreciated.

Blessings,
Karen

Birthday Card & Bows!

Hello everyone! Misty (@Mommyofkidz) here with you today to share my latest creation.

Since it has been so super cold down here in Texas, I have been stuck in the house more than usual.  I decided that I needed something to "warm me up" so I reached for some bright ribbons in summer colors.  The BRIGHTER the Better!!  These ribbons made me want to create some fun korker bows for my great niece to wear...so that's exactly what I did!

All of my ribbon choices were 3/8 in and included some patterned grosgrain styles along with some solids for good measure.  The patterned styles can be found in the Really Reasonable Ribbon store in the Summer Grosgrain Ribbon section. The ones that I chose include :

Citrus Diagonal stripe, Citrus Multi-Dot, Hot Pink Random Dots & Acid Green Random Dots

I also used a few solid grosgrains that include Lemon Yellow, Torrid Orange,  and Shocking Pink.  I love how cute and quirky these bows are!

When I had used all the ribbon that I needed for the bows, I still had a few short strands left.  Not enough to really do much of anything with, but too much to just toss into the garbage can.  At first I just tossed them to the side in my scraps pile. After a couple of days, I realized that I knew exactly what to do with these scraps... I made a matching birthday card!  Perfect!! It was super easy and took almost no time at all...but it was the perfect final touch for this gift.

I had hoped to have a picture of my niece wearing the korker bows to share with you all, but like I said earlier...It has been FREEEEEEEZING here in my little corner of Texas! It has been so cold that I have not gone anywhere at all except to work and home.  YES, I am a wimp.  Anything below 40 is WAY too cold for me!! Thank goodness for warm colored ribbons!

Thank you for stopping by the blog today.  I hope you have found some inspiration, and possibly even something to do the next time you're stuck inside on a cold day.  Whatever your ribbon projects may be, you can find the perfect styles and colors in the Really Reasonable Ribbon store.  Head on over and start filling your cart!

Crafting Journal with RRR

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday to you all! Today's project is a journal I decorated for Really Reasonable Ribbon and for The Robins Nest Creative , and I love how it turned out. I hope you enjoy my post for today using the Gorgeous Swiss Dots Satin Ribbon.

For my project I chose to decorate a journal my dear hubby gave me , and I used the darling design papers from echo park, ribbon is the gorgeous ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon, its the Satin Swiss Dots and all the dew drops are from The Robins Nest Creative. I also covered the pen that came with the journal, and used the sticker machine to run my coordinating dp through. I then added a little glue to keep it closed. Love how this turned out. Normally I would have added a layered piece to the top of my journal, but didn't want to cover up this darling paper.

Thank you so very much for stopping by and have a lovely day!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Lilac Gardens Shaker Card

Really Reasonable Ribbon-Shaker Card-Lavender Seam Binding-Kathy Clement-Kathy by Design

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Happy New Year!  If you're a gardener, you're probably using these winter months to dream about and plan your spring garden.  That's what inspired this Lilac Gardens Shaker Card.  I've trimmed it out with a soft, supple bow tied with Really Reasonable Ribbon Lilac Seam Binding.  This is the ribbon I recommend for "beginner" bow tie-rs.  You can almost always tie the perfect seam binding bow, especially if you use your Bow-it-All Tool

Metallic String-Really Reasonable Ribbon-Kathy Clement-kathy by design

Metallic String is another favorite trim from the RRR shop. You can find it in Gold, Iridescent White and Silver, which I have used here. It makes a pretty topper for my Lilac Seam Binding Bow, but it also creates a gorgeous border at the base of my card.  I like to wrap it around a card layer several times before adhering it to the card base.  This keeps the edges nice and neat.  It's amazing what that little bit of sparkle adds to a card design.

Here's a peek at the inside of the card.

As you can see, I've topped my little tag with more of the same trims.  It's always fun to use "outside" card elements inside the card as it creates a sense of unity in your design.

Lilac and silver are a beautiful color combination for winter and spring creations.  I hope I've shared some tips and ideas today that you can use in your next crafty adventure.

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh My Heart~Bow!

Hi, Y'all! Misty here with you today!

 ( @Mommyofkidz on Instagram)

This is my VERY FIRST post for RRR this year and I am so excited!  It brings me real joy to be on the team again! Bonnie is amazing and ribbon is one of my addictions!

Today I want to share a cute little bow that I made using a plethora of GORGEOUS ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  With Valentine's Day coming soon, I decided to move out of the Christmas mode and break out the  Hearts and Flowers!!

{{Insert Heart Eyes!}}

When I decide to make a bow, I always start with a ribbon that is an inch and a half wide for the base.  For this one I used Grosgrain White  to provide the background for all the reds to POP! There are tons of red ribbons in the RRR store.  So many in fact...that it was a little bit hard for a girl to decide which ones to use! Rather than fighting with myself, I decided to choose one of the pre-made assortments to create with.  They already match and look amazing together!

I chose the Sweetheart Assortment to create some of the layers on this beauty.
I also added in some other elements such as some white Flat back Pearls, white flat back pearl hearts, and Cherry Baker's twine.
!!!OH MY HEART!!!
I am so in LOVE with how this turned out! val

Valentine's Day is one of my favorite days of the year.

Actually, I really just love all the HEARTS that start popping out in every corner of every store everywhere!

Thanks for stopping by today!!  Go check out all the HEART ribbons that RRR has to choose from to get started on your own Valentine's Day projects! It will be here before you know it!

A Blessed New Year

Thanks so much for stopping by today, friends.  I'm sharing my first blog post of 2024 for Really Reasonable Ribbon; and on behalf of myself and RRR, we wish you a very blessed New Year.  I hope you know by now that you can find so many products, at fair/reasonable prices, when you shop at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  This includes all things ribbon and spooled as well as things like Mulberry FlowersStamensBaker's TwineAdhesives and SO much more.  Here's what I came up with to share with you today.
I try not to overuse this sectional frame die-cut, but it makes it so easy to showcase my sentiment along with a few other goodies. I added some vintage sheet music to a couple of the openings and filled another with a small piece of Chipmunk Double Stitch Satin Ribbon.  I also used the Chipmunk Double Stitch Satin Ribbon to tie my bow.  In another section (a couple places), I wrapped the items with Natural Burlap String.
Everything is held securely in place with a fabulous Adhesive called Scor-Tape.  You will LOVE that Scor-Tape comes in several widths and holds items securely in place.  The sentiment I used is from Bonnie Garby Designs.  It can be found in the St. Patrick's Day Sentiments Bundle.  The silhouette stamp is from Hero Arts, and I used a bubble stencil on that image.  The stickers/ephemera are from Crate Paper Emma's Shop.
You can always lots of great products at Really Reasonable Ribbon and so much great inspiration on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog.  So many projects we make require Baker's TwineBurlap String and Ribbons; and when they do, I hope you'll always think of Really Reasonable Ribbon.  They really have it all.

Blessings to you,
Karen

Hello everyone, and Happy New Year to you all!
Today I have a super cute decorated Glass Gumball Candy machine, isn't it just too cute?? I just had to use the beautiful Really Reasonable Ribbon on here and the darling RRR Snowflakes. Just Love these decorated and filled with candy.

Plaid Ribbon Christmas Red / Green I used for the bow on top and for the bow in the middle. I just tied the ribbon around the center and then added my bow. I thought it would be cute to add the darling snowflake embellishments to the top and the the turn handle. super fun! I bought these glass gumball machines at Hobby Lobby in the christmas section. These would make perfect gifts to fill with some yummy candy.
