It is with a mix of gratitude, melancholy, and excitement that I share some big news—Really Reasonable Ribbon will be closing its doors after 16 wonderful years in business.
When I took over
the company in 2010 from a dear friend, my goal was simple: to continue
offering a wide variety of quality products at fair prices, while providing the
kind of personal, attentive customer service that every crafter deserves. It
has been an absolute joy to serve this creative community for so many years.
However, the past
few years have brought challenges that have made it increasingly difficult to
operate a small business in this industry. The pandemic dramatically impacted
product sourcing, shipping costs have skyrocketed, and fluctuating import fees
have made it hard to maintain the quality and pricing my customers expect.
While I would love to offer more products made in the USA, many of the items we
carry simply aren’t produced domestically—and for those that are, the costs
would be far too high for me to continue to offer the same attractive pricing
you’ve enjoyed over the years.
So, after much
thought, I’ve decided it’s time to turn the page and begin a new chapter—retirement
is calling my name! While I’ll be stepping away from Really ReasonableRibbon, I’ll still be staying creative through my other business, BonnieGarby Designs, where I create digital sentiment stamps and SVG cut files
for Cricut and Silhouette. You can continue to follow my creative journey on my
Make Time to Craft Blog.
Now, for the fun part—my Retirement & Store Closing
Sale starts now and will run over the next several months! I’ll be gradually reducing inventory with targeted sales through the end of
this year and into early 2026, with the goal of closing permanently by the end
of February 2026 (if not sooner).
