Be Grateful, Be Happy and Be Blessed

At Really Reasonable Ribbon, you'll always find all the perfect ribbons, trims, twines and laces for sure.  But did you know that Really Reasonable Ribbon also carries useful crafting essentials such as Adhesives3-D Foam TabsMulberry FlowersEmbellishments and much more.  If you haven't done so lately, please take a minute or two and stop by Really Reasonable Ribbon to look around.  You just might want to treat yourself.
Today I'm sharing a fun glassine bag project.  I decorated the glassine bag using patterned papers, stickers and ephemera from Carta Bella's sweet Spring Market line.  I used lots of Scor-Tape Adhesive to hold everything securely in place.  Before all the papers were in place, I used the Typewriter Text Background Stamp to create the fun background you see.
Underneath the watering can sticker (on glassine bag) as well as at the top left of my card, you'll see some bundled Ivory Burlap String and Black Burlap String.  This is another fabulous trim that comes in oodles of different colors and costs just ten cents per yard.  FAB!  On top of the Ivory Burlap String and Black Burlap String on my card, I added three Open Roses.
I also made a matching bookmark for my card.  I used the same Carta Bella goodies including the stickers, chipboard sentiment, etc.  Again, lots of fabulous Scor-Tape holds everything together.  I also did some machine stitching on my card.  The sweet sentiment is from Bonnie Garby Designs and is one of so many great digital sets available in her sweet Etsy Shop.  The "Be" die-cut is from Simon Says Stamp, and the words "happy" and "be blessed" as well as the & die-cut are from Creative Worship.
I used more of the fabulous Solid Baker's Twines on the top of my tag.  Baker's Twine is the perfect trim for adding a matching bookmark.  It comes in both stripes and solids and also comes in so many fabulous colors.  I'm pretty sure I covered everything you see here. but feel free to ask if you have any questions.  Thanks so much for visiting and be sure to catch all the inspiration and up-to-date information right here on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog

The Night Before Christmas

Ribbons are always a fabulous touch.  Ribbons, Twines and Trims can be used for SO many different crafting purposes.  And in my humble opinion, Really Reasonable Ribbon is truly the BEST place to find the variety of colors, widths, designs, styles and types of trims for all your crafting needs.  It's not often that I don't include some type of trim on my cards.  However......did you know that Really Reasonable Ribbon also carries essential items like Adhesives and 3-D Foam Tabs?  They really have a vast variety of crafting products.
I used basic cream cardstock for the base of my card.  I layered that with patterned papers from my stash including some old October Afternoon papers, stickers and an ephemera card.  I tied some rather long lengths of Baker's Twine around my card and tied a bow with it.  Really Reasonable Ribbon carries both Solid and Striped Baker's Twines.  On this card, I used Cherry Baker's Twine and Solid Mint Baker's Twine to match my papers.
I used lots of fabulous Scor-Tape Adhesive to attach everything and hold it securely in place.  I used a cute die-cut from Paper Sweeties to cut my "Christmas cookie for Santa".  I cut it out of cardboard, and it's layered with 3-D Foam Tabs, and then the center is filled with red glitter to represent jelly or frosting in the center of the cookie.  The tiny iced coffee image is also very old, and it's from V's Sweet Ideas.  Do you get it?  The Night Before Christmas....I'm eating cookies and drinking coffee.  LOL
You can find lots of great inspiration on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog, and that's where you'll also stay up-to-date about special sales and promotions taking place in the RRR Store.  You'll always find the best selection of Ribbons, Trims, Twines, Adhesives, Embellishments, Mulberry Flowers and much more at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  There's also still time to SAVE during the Labor Day SALE.  Details are here on the Blog (just below this post).  Thanks so much for stopping by to take a peek and say hello.  I'm always grateful.

Blessings,
Karen

Wishing You a Very Happy Birthday Card

Today I am sharing a pretty birthday card I created for my daughter-in-law.  I embellished the card with some pretty ribbons and flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon

I created a 4-1/2″ x 6-1/4" card with loads of layers. My digital sentiment from Bonnie Garby Designs is my main focal point.  I ran a piece of garden rose Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon across the middle of the card under the sentiment panel and topped it off with a piece of raspberry swirl Plaid Ribbon.  I finished my card off with a pretty bi-color double loop bow and below the sentiment I have added some pretty 2-tone pink with deep pink center Open Roses.

The sentiment on the front of my card is from my Birthday Greetings 3 Digi Stamp Bundle. The interior sentiment is from the Birthday Sentiments 3 for the Inside Digi Stamp Bundle.  The background was created with my Layered Circle in Square on Point Overlay SVG Bundle. All my designs can be found on my Bonnie Garby Designs Etsy shop.

Our sister company 'Bonnie Garby Designs' is offering a large variety of digital sentiment stamps and svg files.  Below are the digital stamp bundles I used on my card today.

My card is topped off with a pretty bi-color double loop bow created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using garden rose and pearl pink Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon.  I topped off the center of the bow with a pretty heart shaped pearl embellishment.

Have Faith

Hi there, ribbon loving friends, it's your friend Karen sharing here today.  We all enjoy making cards, right?  While there are so many different styles and techniques out there to try and to enjoy, I personally enjoy adding the warmth and texture of some type of trim.  Whether it be a true Grosgrain Ribbon bow, some Burlap String or Baker's Twine, or even some lovely Seam Binding like I'm using on today's card.....you can always find the perfect style, width, color and design to match all your art at Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I pulled out some much older patterned papers and the stickers, ephemera and goodies that came in this lovely Pretty Party line from Crate Paper.  Lots of pattern paper layers indeed.  Here and there, you'll see tiny bits of the stickers from this line.  I wanted to pull on the colors, so I used a texture stamps (or two) from Creative Worship Stamps.  These encouraging stamped sentiments are from Stamp Simply.
I ran a length of my favorite color of Seam Binding which is the Bayleaf Seam Binding.  It matches these patterned papers so perfectly.  It's truly a beautiful color.  I tied a bow again using the Bayleaf Seam Binding, some bundled Ivory Burlap String, and added some fun accents to include stick pins, an Open Rose, and some sweet little Mulberry Leaves.
I wrapped the Ivory Burlap String all the way around my card.  As I said, I do love the texture and warmth it adds to cards.  The pretty Ivory Open Rose I used on this card comes in many beautiful colors.  Most all of the Mulberry Flowers we carry come in various colors and sizes.  There's such a great selection at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Give yourself some time to look around at ALL there is to offer.  Oh, and everything is held together with these fabulous Adhesives.
Thanks so much for visiting today.  Be sure to stop by and see all the fabulous inspiration on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog and stay up-to-date on special sales and promotions.  We always welcome and appreciate your visits.

Blessings,
Karen

Elevate your Card with Ribbon!

Hi there All our Really Reasonable Ribbon Loving Friends!
Misty @Mommyofkidz here to share a fun card with you!
OK...so...I know that people DO make cards without ribbon,
All I am asking is...HOW!!!??

I may not be much of a card making person, but I do know that a beautiful
bow is the PERFECT final touch for any card!
It just seems to elevate that final look from "Pretty" to "WOW" or even "GORGEOUS!"

Take this card for instance.  Without the ribbon it is pretty...The sunflower papers from
Brutus Monroe are spectacular alone.
But when I added that

5/8 Plaid Black Bold Check Ribbon

to the tag, everything changed!
Then I tied that extra little message onto one of the using

Burlap String Ivory

And it elevated the appearance of that card even more!

Here is a close Up of it:
Just a simple bow can make such a difference!

I am a firm believer that Ribbon is like cheese.
It makes EVERYTHING Better!!

If you are planning to make cards this Holiday season,
you should browse the Really Reasonable Ribbon site for
that perfect ribbon to elevate your own cards!
Think Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas!
This is card making season y'all!
Go grab your ribbons!

"Little Stinker" Boutique Bow

Hi Y'all! Misty @Mommyofkidz here today sharing a bow that I created using a plethora of Really Reasonable Ribbon!  When I make bows, I primarily use Grosgrain Ribbon because it is thicker and will hold it's shape better than any other. Occasionally, I will use others such as the May Arts Gingham ribbons for a bit of enhancements. I rarely will use Satin Ribbon on my bows, but I have been known to once or twice. Especially if I find one with a fabulous print!

Today's Bow, however, only uses two types of ribbon.  Grosgrain and Gingham.  I have incorporated a variety of prints into this mix to add a bit of whimsy. I have grosgrain ribbons in  Stripes, Solids, Swiss Dots and Florals. and I even added in one of those irresistible May Arts Ginghams that I mentioned earlier.

I used a total of 8 different ribbons for this bow, in all different sizes.
If you go shopping in the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store, you will find most of these ribbons are still available...or something similar.  And a LOT of it just might be on SALE!
Oh...I also buy all of my clips from RIGHT HERE .  Bonnie has ALL the variety and shapes imaginable, and everything that I need!

The cute little skunk center that I used is the only think that I used that is not available in the RRR Shop, but I did include a photo of the buttons that I used.  I have had these in my stash for a while now, and it was time to use them! So I did a mash-up of the 2 themes. lol

I hope my bow has inspired you to get crafty with som GORGEOUS ribbon!!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE playing with ribbon!
I think I have more boutique hair bow than any grown woman should have!
HA HA HA!
Maybe my next project will be a new bow holder for them!

Thanks for dropping by today!
I hope to see you again soon!
