Ribbon,Roses,and Red

Today I have a quick altered project I did with some Really Reasonable Ribbon and lace.
While out shopping at a second hand store I found this album with page inserts. There was just a red quilted cover-much to plain for my liking.
There is one of my favorite laces Noelle White Crochet Lace and added a border to the front and the spine.
White Silk was perfect for me to add to the two covers and tie a bow-there are eyelets on each cover.
I just knotted one end and pulled through each eyelet.
Wanted to share a close up of the ribbon and grouping of Prima flowers and leaves.
Can you see the red pieces there? Guess what those are? The brads are from Lost and Found line.
I had those vintage earrings that just seemed to work with my design.and a Prima swirl finished it off.

So the next time you are shopping don't pass up those vintage books or items-you can use so many ribbons and laces to dress any item.

My Four Drawer Easel Card

Hi, It is me Dawn here today to share a really fun project I made with my Really Reasonable Lace trim and White ribbon. Have I got a treat for you today.
I made a four drawer Easel Card box with some fun papers and ribbons I have been saving.
I made this project from a pattern I got off Technique Junkie's 3D fun Folds CD.The trim was used along the bottom of the easel card and also around each drawer.
This is a view of the box and card closed. Isn't that fun Once Upon a time paper?
I used Amelia trim and  White from the Christmas Diamond Satin Assortment.
I like how the white ribbon looks so crisp, Now you know I used my Bow Easy to make the bows.
I just love this tool to make perfect bows each time, have you watched the videos on using one?

Here is a side view of the Easel card on top and the drawers below.I used a paper doily and sentiment from my stash.
I had so much fun making this project...hope I shared a little inspiration with you to try something new.

Wedding Ensemble With Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hello!
True :D here.

Today is the last day of a week full of inspirational wedding projects here @ Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings. You should really scroll down and check out all of the beautiful creations if you haven't been following along!

I have been ready for this event for quite some time. I made my son Kurt and future daughter-in-love Kristin's invitations and all 100 are just setting on the pool table waiting to be mailed 8 weeks prior to the wedding.
They chose Canary and Mermaid for their colors so of course the invitations had to match!  ;)
That is just one of the awesome things about Really Reasonable Ribbon...they have almost any color imaginable in stock to coordinate with whatever you are working on! :)
For this set, I used several Really Reasonable Ribbon ribbons.
The pretty ribbon on the invitation is Satin Grosgrain Double Band Teal. The ribbons on the favor are 1 1/4" White Silk and Satin With Grosgrain Edge Light Yellow. The RSVP's also have a piece of the yellow satin.

The wording for the invitations and reply cards was done on my computer, then my dear sweet hubby and I added the floral stamping and heat embossing. (if you add 'em up....that was 600 individual stampings! Ugh!)
Jelly Belly's are Kristin's favorite candy so it is great that they have colors to match! :)
We also added about 600 pieces of bling!

Here is a peek @ The pool table.
I have been a busy busy girl!  ;)
(please excuse the bad lighting though)

Speaking of invitations....I would like to invite you all to come back on Wednesday the 13th of April  for our monthly blog hop. It will be the final hop for the current design team and we would love for you all to help them go out with a bang! :)

Thanks so much for dropping by!

Hugs,
