'Twas the Night Before Christmas Tag

Well hello there Paper Peeps! I've been a busy little elf working on the projects for my Christmas gifts. Today I'm sharing a tag I created with lovely RRR trims , 'Twas the Night Before Christmas patterned papers from Graphic 45, and fun dimensional embellishments.

As you can see, I've added a lot of depth by building the layers with foam spacers. Lots of layers of vintagy images with chipboard elements, sparkly snowflake and gorgeous Mulberry Flowers.

This scrumptious bow was created with wider Red Plaid and  Snowflakes on Red Satin Ribbons. I topped it off with a glittery pine cone.

I thought it would look nice to add an extra layer of the holly...so I clipped out small sections...and scored it to fold and give more depth.
Okay...that's one more gifty project done....there's only like elebenty hundred to go....good thing I got an early start : ) Wishing you all a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative...G

You're Not Old... You're Vintage

For our August Blog Hop, please click HERE.

Hello, Friends! It's Kathy here, ready to share some ribbony goodness with you. This cheery turquoise and yellow birthday card makes me happy every time I look at it.  I got the cute retro images, ephemera and papers from my favorite Etsy shop, Polly's Paper.

Retro RRR 01

This Turquoise Shimmer Satin Ribbon was the perfect accessory for my retro card. I added some hand made Posy Patch flowers from Heartfelt Creations along with buttons, paper tape, and a perky yellow burlap string bow. I also salvaged a label from a Clabber girl baking powder tin because I thought they were too cute to throw away. Yeah, my sweet hubby doesn't throw anything away until he checks with me to make sure I don't want to add it to my stash in the Closet of Shame. I computer journaled the sentiment because I don't have a stamp with this greeting on it.  Here's a peek at the inside.

I hope you have a sunny, happy and creative day!

Glamour Tag

Hello Peeps!!
Heather here and I have a tag that I would like to share with you today!

I used some fabulous ribbon, trim, buttons and roses from
I also used some Tombow Foam Tabs to elevate my Gecko Galz image, banner piece and stars.  I also added a few Deep Ivory Mulberry Roses and Pastel Buttons!!
I tied off the top of my tag with the Salmon Seam Binding.  You can see where I used the Juliet Lace to tuck in under my pastel buttons both on the star and in the upper right of the tag.  I love the metal gray swiss dots!
I layered my Rose Silky Crush, Edna Lace and metal gray ribbon under my focal image, which was raised with the Tombow Fix it foam tabs.
I just love all the tiny pastel buttons that I placed across the bottom of the tag with the Juliet lace!  I used my fine tip applicator and applied some dries clear glue, then added both Just Peachy and Gingerbread Art Glitters!
One last look at my tag.
I don't know about you...but I am lovin' the new RRR Blog!  I can add X-Large photos now..without the images covering up the sidebar!!  Woot!! Woot!!
This is my last official post here at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I have enjoyed being on the team!!  I just decided that I would like to have a little more time to spend in my garden and get some things finished around my house this summer.  I will of course continue to use RRR goodies...Bonnie has the best ribbons, trims, buttons....everything..and Great Customer Service!!
I do hope to do a couple of posts here through out the summer so no good-byes for me....more of a see you later...alligator!!
Hugs!!
Enjoy your Summer!!
Heather
