Love Notes Candy Mail Box
For my Mail Box I used die cuts, and then figured out how big I wanted my base to be. I then scored and cut my paper and did up a templet for that so I have it on hand for future boxes. These would also be cute at Easter time too. It can hold lots of candy kisses. In the photo I have 11 kisses but you could add more if needed.
Next I added some magnets to keep it closed, then a cute 3-D embellishment, and Really Reasonable Ribbons Pink Satin, and Pink Bakers Twine. I also used Scor-Tape in 2 different sizes, and foam square as well. the little Heart embellishment is a 12mm Fish Scale Heart. Lastly I added my bow and little tag. You could also add some love notes to the inside as well. I will add those after.
Supplies used:
- Really Reasonable Ribbon Pink Satin
- Pink Bakers Twine
- 12mm Fish Scale Heart Cabochon
- Scor Tape in 1" , and 1/4"

Friendship Teacups Card
Hello, Ribbon Lovers! Valentine's Day is not just for lovers, it's for friends, too! So I created this sweet tea-themed friendship Valentine, then dolled it up with ribbons from the January Ribbon Club Assortment.
First, I created a ribbon belly band by layering Poppy Red Diamond Satin with the Geometric Print Satin Ribbon. Checkerboard White Satin Ribbon pops behind some deep red flowers in the main bow cluster.
It's amazing to me to see how well this Geometric Print Satin Ribbon goes with the geometric lines in this paper collection. It's always so neat when that happens!I put ribbon to work inside the card, too! It makes a great tag topper for the goodies I tucked inside the pocket.
What's your favorite ribbon from this month's assortment? I'd love to hear about it in the comment section below.
Thanks for stopping by!

Mad About You Valentine Shaker Card
Hello, Ribbon Lovers! This Mad Hatter Shaker Valentine is a fun way to let someone know, "Hey, I'm Mad About You!" this Valentine's Day!
Did you notice how the Mad Hatter's black checked trousers are echoed by the 3/8" Black Houndstooth Bow Cluster? Any time you can repeat a pattern in a card design, you're going to have a win on your hands.
Top that bow with a little Black Baker's Twine to add even more fulness and texture. I also wrapped it around the stem of the pocket watch shaker element. Little touches like this add such wonderful detail when you are making a card.
Black Baker's Twine makes it easy to attach this cluster of metal embellishments, too. Simply loop folded twine through the brad openings on the door plate, then wrap the loose ends back behind the card front. Then you can also add a key and teacup at the top with a little bow and flower to really dress things up.
Using black ribbon is a great way to "ground" a mix of colors like the ones in this card. It sort of ties them all together and makes them sing in harmony. And that, my friends, is always a good thing!
Wishing you all a very Happy Valentine's Day!

kathy

LOVE Card with Layered Ribbon and Lace
I double-layered a postage stamp die cut using 2 different patterned papers, then wrapped my ribbon treatment around opposing corners with White Crocheted Lace and 1/8" Diagonal Stripe Ribbon. I added a few WOC Carnations Mixed Red to my card as well. This is definitely a card to be hand delivered, hehe!
And that's all for today! Only 6 more days until Valentine's Day, so get those cards out to anyone you want to send your love to this year! And remember, it's always better with ribbon! Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend! Happy crafting!

Last Minute Valentine Tips and Tricks
Tips and Tricks for Making Quick Cards
- Keep a file full of scrap papers that you've cut to measure 4" x 6". I have mine organized in a bin by color. That way, I can just reach in and grab papers that go well with my images and quickly cut them to fit my card base. It's a huge time saver, and a great way to use up your scraps.
- Keep an ephemera file for small tickets, tags, and other goodies that you can layer in with your papers. I have a small bin that is full of little bits and pieces I've salvaged.
- Be prepared! Tie a bunch of neutral bows and store them for future use. This black and white houndstooth plaid is one of my favorite ribbons. It goes with everything and ties beautifully. I always tie an extra single or double loop bow and then toss it in a little container. That way, the work is already done for me when I'm in a hurry!
- Don't worry about matting each layer. Since these cards are more simple, maybe just mat the focal image to make it stand out. This will save loads of time!

Valentine Coffee Anyone?
It's Teresa here on this amazing Tuesday morning to share with you something fun that I did with a customizable hot beverage mug. I found this at a local store and thought how fun this would be to customize the inside for Valentines. I did them at the store once with neat coffee and hot chocolate designs but today I used fun Valentine papers with lace and ribbons to decorate it.
Monthly Kit Club Assortment this month called Love is in the air. And just a bit of pink gingham ribbon that I had in my RRR stash for this month. I adore all these pinks and reds.... they are just gorgeous!
Thanks so much for stopping over and if you have any questions be sure and leave one for me and I would be happy to answer back to help any way I can. Have a really nice day.....
