Fairy Time Mixed Media Tags

Hello Friends!!
Heather here and today I have some cute tags to share with you.
Not my normal style...these are a bit messy...but sure were fun to create!
On my first tag I used images and Digital Papers from Gecko Galz and some 7/8 inch Pink Organza (tie at the top, hard to see), Turquoise Diamond Satin and Tiny sheer mini blue dots organza.

On my second tag I used some of the Acid Green Diamond satin, 7/8 inch Pink Organza (tie at the top, hard to see) and Hot & Shocking Pink Diagonal Ribbon.

Here are a couple close ups.
I used my Bow it All tool to create the double bow our of the acid green satin and I simply tied a knot with the light pink organza.  I used the Diagonal Ribbon to create the tiny banner.

I used the Mini dots across my wagon and again I used the Bow it all Tool to create another double bow.

Here is a close up of the tag with another Double bow made with the Bow it all tool.

I hope you enjoyed my post, and hope you have some time to pull out your ribbons and have some messy fun!

Before I forget, if you liked my double pocket tag card below that I did for our January Blog Hop,  I will have my tutorial of how to make the pocket card here on the 29th of January.

Class of 2013

Welcome!  Today I have two cards I made for graduation, these were a special order.  I used a free file of subway art I found on pinterest.  The ribbon on top of the tag is from the Satin with Silver Metallic Edges Fairy Assortment.  It was the perfect color of yellow to go with the EP paper.  My tag and stars are all cut using Deloris my Silhouette Cameo.

The layout on the card are the same and the EP papers come from the same collection.

If you haven't used the Bow Easy tool...you must get one.  It makes it a snap to tie double bows.  Isn't the metallic edge on this ribbon gorgeous!!

I hope you have a super crafty Saturday.  Thank you so much for visiting!

A Big ole Bow

Happy Thursday everyone. Today I'm sharing with you a card I made using a few different ribbons. Bows can be used as accents on a project or as focal points. For this card, I used Dark Brown Satin in 3/8" and White Satin in 5/8". When making the bow, layer the ribbons. Once the bow is tied, pull the loops apart to create a very full bow. I will be doing a "tie a bow" tutorial in the future so keep your eyes open.

Try layering a few ribbons together to create a unique bow. Post your creations in a comment, and we'll be sure to stop by and check them out.
