Round Easel Card

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday to all!  Today I'm sharing an easel card I made using Really Reasonable Ribbon's Beautiful Satin.

I used the Satin with Grosgrain edge in pink for my bow.  Bonnie carries some BEAUTIFUL SATIN Ribbons over at Really Reasonable Ribbon store :)
I also added a button to the center.  My card was cut using the Cricut wild card cartridge and the flower was stamped using Heartfelt Creations stamps and leaves.

I really LOVE making the round easel cards.  They are super fun to decorate. For my Spellbinders tag I ended up airbrushing it and then stamped my sentiments :)
Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!
Hugs,
Cheryl

Scrapbooking with Ribbon!

Have you ever wanted to use ribbon on your scrapbook pages?
I've got a fun tutorial to show you how easy and fun it can be
using Really Reasonable Ribbon!

First, I adhered my photo and journaling card onto kraft cardstock. Then I picked out my favorite border and cut my RRR ribbon to 12" to match the length of my border.

Then I adhered each piece onto the page. You can alternate between ribbon and border or design it any way that you like. I used flat Glue Dots on the back of my ribbon for an extra secure bond.

Add your embellishements, journaling card, or whatever you wish to your page.

I used the July Ribbon Club goodies on this page (plus) some white double ruffle ribbon. Here's a close-up shot of the ribbon.

At the end you come up with a fun page that used ribbon instead of patterned paper. This would be a fun project to make with your RRR Ribbon.

Hope you enjoyed my fun ribbon tutorial today! Be sure to hop on over to the RRR Shop to stock up on your ribbon goodies!

Ruffled Hydrangea!

Hello! I just LOVE how all white cards are so every elegant looking! What could make it even more elegant then ruffled white satin ribbon from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store!!

The Hydrangea image is from Our Daily Bread Designs. I layered it on a lacey circle and lacey square nestabilities. I then embossed the base with an embossing folder. To finish off the card, I added some half backed gems and a crystal bauble from Tim Holtz wrapped around the stain ruffled bow tied with a bow easy!

Thanks so much for visiting! Have a wonderful day!

Guest Designing with Really Reasonable Ribbon!

I am thrilled to be at Really Reasonable Ribbon guest designing for the day! Thank you to Bonnie and True for asking me to come along for a glorious summer day of designing! My name is Judy Rozema and I have three different styles of projects to show you today.

I am working with two assortments today - Baker's Twine and the July 2011 Assortment from the monthly ribbon club, of which I am a member! My first card is a fun blast-from-the-past with my dream car - a lime green original VW Convertible Bug. I used seven of the twelve colors in the Baker's Twine Assortment because they matched the designer paper (The Paper Studio) so well! Peace, man!

My next project is totally different in style, and uses one of the ribbons from the July 2011 Assortment, as well as the Licorice Baker's Twine.

I love the Diamond pattern on this pretty satin ribbon! And who doesn't love Baker's Twine?! You can't go wrong with any of the many beautiful ribbons and trims at Really Reasonable Ribbon!

My third project was a lot of fun to make, and it uses Brown Sugar Baker's Twine. I will show you a sneak peek here, but would love for you to come see the whole thing (with some other fun giggety goo!) on my blog.
Thank you to Bonnie and True for asking me to be your Guest today! I have enjoyed every minute!

***********************************************

Here is a little inspiration from our design team for challenge #28 to get you started. All of the sample projects feature ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

***********************************************

Now let's see your Cool It! creations. Show us how you interpret the 'Cool It' theme.  The winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to Really Reasonable Ribbon . We will also be drawing a random winner from all the entries to win a second $10 gift certificate to Really Reasonable Ribbon. How cool is that!!! We will be announcing the winners on August 1st.

Here's what you need to do:

* Create a new project using the posted theme. A layout, card, ATC, home decor item, hair bow, or anything your can think of.
* You may enter as many times as you like, but you're asked to provide newly designed projects. No back-linking please.
* All projects must also include some sort of ribbon/lace/trim.
* Post your project on your blog or an online gallery (using code RRR28) and link it here with the Inlinkz tool below. Please provide a direct link to your post, not an entire blog.

Thanks so much for playing and good luck.

PLEASE consider turning off your word verification.
It would be a great help to us if you would consider turning off your word verification if it's active on your blog. To do this is really easy and all you need to do is go to Customise > Settings > Comments > then scroll down to where it says comment moderation and select always (this won't stop anybody leaving you a comment but they won't show on your blog till you approve them). Then scroll down to show word verification for comments? and select No.
We love to visit your blogs and leave comments on all the terrific entries, but the word verification really slows us down. :o)
