With Sympathy

This is my last post as a member of the RRR Design Team. I have truly loved being on this team so much. Bonnie has been a gem to work with, and has such a generous heart, and the girls on the team are so much fun and are so spunky!  Be sure to check out the Design Team Call and apply. You will love it!

Today's card is a simple CAS design that highlights the ribbon so well. It adds such color and pattern to the overall design, while not being overwhelming.
I used the Olive/Celery Sheer Two-Toned Striped Ribbon to accent my sympathy card. Just enough for the serene card I wanted to send. The pearled flowers were purchased and the sentiment is from sign4words by The {Stamps} of Life, as is the ink.

Be sure to check out all of the Two-Toned ribbons in the RRR Store here.

Thank you for looking at my designs over the past DT terms. I have loved sharing them! Best wishes to the new team members!

Flying High with Sheer Two-Toned Ribbon

Two-toned ribbon can add such depth and dimension and fun to your creations and today I (Judy) am here to share a card I made using the Sheer Two-Toned Stripe Ribbon in Orange. There are more really lovely colors and also an assortment pack available here.

I used Aqua Baker's Twine for my kite tail and put a little loop in it for fun.
My images and dies are from The {Stamps} of Life. You can read more about this card on my blog here. Thanks for stopping by today~!

A Last Dash to the Beach

Nothing better than a lazy day on the beach! School starts for me next week, so I wanted to get in one more summer card before I feel like it's fall (even though officially it's still over a month away!).

My little Sunbathing Mouse is a digital image from I Brake For Stamps. He is on his sandy beach, just hanging out with his cool pink sunglasses (real mice wear pink). I printed my image on Georgia Pacific White cardstock, and then colored it in using Copic Markers.
I added a little pennant banner blowing in the beachy breeze and held together using Lemon Baker's Twine and Hot Pink Kaiser Pearls. The beautiful Yellow Sheer Two-Tone Stripe ribbon adds a nice touch to the second panel with its bow.

I hope your summer has been fantastic!
