Start with about a foot of your chosen ribbon.
Fold in half and glue the edge with a hot glue gun.
Cut halfway into the fold about every 1/4" or so.
Start rolling your flower, hot gluing as you go.
Voila!
I added a brad for a flower center and also used Black Licorice Baker's Twine.
