Cheery Autumn Flowers and Brown Glitz Ribbon
Hello, Ribbon Lovers! How can it already be the end of August? You know what that means, right? Time to pull out our autumn ribbons and flowers!
Have you discovered the beauty of Glitz Ribbon yet? It's one of my favorites because it not only has a bit of sparkle, but it's also ties beautiful bows! I've layered Brown Glitz Ribbon under a trio of Mixed Earth Tone Chrysanthemums and Rosebuds.
TIP: Trim the stems from your Chrysanthemums, but keep the little beaded ends that are close to the flower base. You can tuck these into your flower display to add an extra bit of texture.
TIP: Don't forget to add leaves to your flower display. Leaves add a lot of fulness and they make paper flowers look more realistic.
Enjoy these last few days of summer, friends!
Cheerio,
kathy

Fall Wooden Sign
Howdy, y'all! Misty (@mommyofkidz) here today sharing an easy and fun Fall decor project. All of this was made with items from my stash, ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and of course, a little fall cutfile from Bonnie's Etsy!
I started with a little wooden sign that I picked up at Michael's for $3. I like to check the clearance aisles at the craft stores for little things that I can use for projects just like this! Bonnie's Etsy and her files in Cricut Access are awesome, and I always find the perfect one for all my projects. This time I chose her cute little file...TGIF Thank God It's Fall. I loved it so much, I even kept the same colors as the example!
I matched my vinyl colors with some fall florals from my stash, then paired up the ribbon and lace for the final touch. Plaid Ribbon Forest Green Paired with the Sharon Lace made this little sign of mine just SCREAM fall!Usually I wouldn't use hot glue on things like this if I were putting it outside in my porch. Texas Heat is brutal and will literally melt the glue - no electricity required. However, since it was staying inside, I didn't have to worry about the glue melting my masterpiece and it falling apart.
Once it was all finished, I had the perfect little indoor fall decor sign to kick off my favorite season of all! The warm colors and comforting scents of Autumn filled my mind and made me smile. All I need now is for these scorching Texas Temperatures to drop so that I can break out my cozy sweaters!
TGIF! Thank God It's Fall!!!
and THANK YOU for stopping by today! Have a wonderfully crafty week!

Beary sweet Photo frame with Seam Binding
Hello crafty friends and Happy Friday to you all! DT Member Cheryl here with a fun little project I did. I took one of these old old frames my mom gave me and redid it and added some seam bindings and flowers to her.
To start I took the original eyes off of her, as they were little circle dots, and added some paper ones I had cut out on the cricut a long time ago. I then smoothed down the nose to get rid of the red using a crafting sanding block and colored it pink. Next I added the pink heart on top.
For the ears I used brown seam binding that I ruched up and hot glued on her ears. and for her big bow I used the Rose Petal Seam Binding ruched up and made into a bow, then I added some flowers and then the baby pink seam binding to the top of the bow. Love how it turned out. I also added some chalking to the cheeks and eyes, and then dots to the cheeks and muzzle . I also distressed the outside of the entire frame.
