I used both Gold Taffeta  and Burnt Rust seam binding. Lots of chipboard pieces from Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts , flowers, etc create my dimension.

I am loving the warm oranges and browns this year.

 Hope you enjoyed my cards!

To do this is really easy and all you need to do is go to Customize > Settings > Comments > then scroll down to where it says comment moderation and select always (this won't stop anybody leaving you a comment but they won't show on your blog until you approve them). Then scroll down to show word verification for comments? and select No.
We love to visit your blogs and leave comments on all the terrific entries, but the word verification really slows us down. :o)

We Make a Great Pear

Hello crafty friends, and Happy Thursday to you all! Today I have a fun and simple card I designed using the  Really Reasonable Ribbon August Autumn Harvest Ribbon Assortment, along with a few embellishments.

On my card I chose to make my a bow using three of the ribbons in Augusts Ribbon Club Assortment. I also used the same ribbons for the banners in the left hand corner. The design papers and stamps I ended up using are all from Club Scraps September Orchard Kit. The flowers I used were already cut, and colored, I just had to put them together for my card.  The centers have a 10mm pearl embellishments. The leaves were already done, so I just had to add them. This made for a fast card, as I didn't end up doing any sewing on this one, kinda shocking....hehehehe.

The sentiment was stamped using black ink, and then I distressed around the oval using an orange and light brown. The pear was stamped 2 times and cut out once.  I colored it using Copic markers.

The yellow layer was just distressed using scissors and ink,

The big bow was made using the Tangerine Taffeta , autumn leaves grosgrain, and green satin, along with a sweet crystal embellishment.

All layers were put together using Scor-Tape and foam squares from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Really Reasonable Ribbon Supplies Used:
White flat back pearls 10mm
Mixed colored rhinestone flower
Scor-Tape
3-D thin foam tabs
Ribbons-Assortment , or Green checkerboard Satin, Random Autumn Leaves Grosgrain , Tangerine Taffeta Ribbon

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!

Hugs to all,
Cheryl

It's Cupcake Day Birthday Card

Hi ribbon lovers.  Bonnie here today with a pretty birthday card I created for my niece using some pretty ribbon and embellishments from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

My sentiment and cupcake image is from the Sprinkled with Love set from Graciellie Design.

My background is a left over piece of Distress Ink paper I made a while ago topped with the Alpine Flourish Doily from Cheery Lynn Designs die cut in white.  This was layered on purple and turquoise cardstock and then wrapped a piece of 5/8" Turquoise Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon topped with 3/8" Geranium and Hyacinth Diamond Print Grograin Ribbon.  I then added a torn layer of white mulberry paper at the bottom.  This was then adhered to my A2 card base.
I printed my sentiment and image on white cardstock and colored with Prismacolor pencils.  I layered this panel on purple cardstock and then adhered it to the center of my card.
My card was finished off with a pretty bi-color bow created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using 5/8" Hot Pink and Delphinium Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon.  I added a pretty Heart Shaped Pearl Embellishment to the center of the bow.

For a video tutorial on how I created this pretty bow, please click HERE.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  For more information on the other products I used on my card, please visit my Make Time to Craft blog.
