Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge #149 - Things with Wings with Ribbon or Trim Theme

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge here at Really Reasonable Ribbon. Please scroll down to the next post for the winners of the last challenge.

The theme for Challenge #149 is Things with Wings
Create a card, layout, multi media piece, tag, ATC, hair bow, you name it. Just be sure to follow the theme above and use ribbon, lace or trim somewhere on your project.

*******************

Here is a little inspiration from our design team for challenge #149 to get you started.  All of the sample projects feature ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

************************

Now, let's see your Things with Wings creations!
We will be selecting our top three favorite projects to feature, so stop back on October 7th to see our picks along with our next challenge theme.

Here's what you need to do:
* Create a new project using the posted theme. A layout, card, ATC, home decor item, hair bow, or anything you can think of provided it fits the weekly theme.
* You may enter up to 6 projects, but you're asked to provide newly designed projects. No back-linking please.
* All projects must also include some sort of ribbon, lace or trim.
* A maximum of 6 entries per person per challenge please.
* Post your project on your blog or an online gallery (using code RRR149) and link it here with the Inlinkz tool below. Please provide a direct link to your post, not an entire blog.
* You have until Wednesday October 5th at 11:59 PM Eastern time to enter your projects. Thanks so much for playing and good luck.

PLEASE consider turning off your word verification.
It would be a great help to us if you would consider turning off your word verification if it's active on your blog. To do this is really easy and all you need to do is go to Customize > Settings > Comments > then scroll down to where it says comment moderation and select always (this won't stop anybody leaving you a comment but they won't show on your blog until you approve them). Then scroll down to show word verification for comments? and select No.
We love to visit your blogs and leave comments on all the terrific entries, but the word verification really slows us down. :o)

A Glimpse of Winter

Hi there..........  still not back from my journey but here to share a RRR project with you!  A festive Christmas card using Silver bead berries from Wild Orchid along with Faux canvas gray ribbon

and lipstick red seam binding.  I used stickers, paper scraps, and vintage faux branches.

Love the combination of reds, greens with the nontraditional gray.  Hope you enjoy!

Christmas Past Card

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday to all!
Today's card was designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the beautiful Shimmer Satin in the color "Kiwi". I am so addicted to the Shimmer satin ribbons, and LOVE all the colors that Really Reasonable Ribbon carries.  I absolutely love how easy my bows turn out using this beautiful ribbon. I hope you enjoy my post today!
For my card today I chose to use Graphic45 Old Christmas Past design paper, and the Kiwi Shimmer Satin works PERFECT with this collection. The red card stock is from SU! (Riding Hood Red), the green is AC and is one of the colors from the  assorted packs.

I created my bow doing 4 loops on each side, then hot glued the loops together and created this cluster with flowers and leaves. Love the way it looks together.

My image is from I Brake For Stamps and is colored using copic markers Y28,C1, R00,E57,E93,B18,R85,RV34,RV11,RV21,R39,R37,YG67,E15,E37,E31,B41. I also used stickles in crystal ice, and cotton candy. Lastly I embellished the corners with green gems. Stitching was done with red thread.
Christmas is my favorite holiday, and I absolutely love decorating up the inside & outside of my home.
Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!
hugs to all,
Cheryl
