Bigger Wish Card

Hey there Paper Peeps! It's Ginny and I'm just dropping in this morning to share a fun birthday card I created that is very very purply!

I used Lavender Wrinkle Ribbon to create those sweet little bows that hold up the button and rose banner. I layered loads of pretty patterned papers from Sweet Sentiments from Graphic 45 with a fun Subway Art Styled Birthday Sentiment from my Digital Collage Sheet.

Wishing you all a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative : ) G

RRR Challenge #99 - Things with Wings & Ribbon Theme

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge here at Really Reasonable Ribbon. Please scroll down to the next post for the winners of the last challenge.

The theme for Challenge #99 is Things with Wings & Ribbon.
Create a card, layout, multi media piece, tag, ATC, hair bow, you name it. Just be sure to follow the theme above and use ribbon/lace or trim somewhere on your project.

*******************

Here is a little inspiration from our design team for challenge #99 to get you started.  All of the sample projects feature ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

************************

Now, let's see your Things with Wings creations!
We will be selecting our top three favorite projects to feature, so stop back on August 1st to see our picks along with our next challenge theme.

Here's what you need to do:
* Create a new project using the posted theme. A layout, card, ATC, home decor item, hair bow, or anything you can think of.
* You may enter up to 6 projects, but you're asked to provide newly designed projects. No back-linking please.
* All projects must also include some sort of ribbon, lace or trim.
* A maximum of 6 entries per person per challenge please.
* Post your project on your blog or an online gallery (using code RRR99) and link it here with the Inlinkz tool below. Please provide a direct link to your post, not an entire blog.
* You have until July 29th at 11:59 PM Eastern time to enter your projects. Thanks so much for playing and good luck.

PLEASE consider turning off your word verification.
It would be a great help to us if you would consider turning off your word verification if it's active on your blog. To do this is really easy and all you need to do is go to Customize > Settings > Comments > then scroll down to where it says comment moderation and select always (this won't stop anybody leaving you a comment but they won't show on your blog till you approve them). Then scroll down to show word verification for comments? and select No.
We love to visit your blogs and leave comments on all the terrific entries, but the word verification really slows us down. :o)

Steampunk Debutante Birthday Wishes

Steampunk Birthday 04

Hello again, all you fabulous ribbon lovers! I'm popping in today with a fun Steampunk Debutante card that I paired with Double Faced Satin Ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Steampunk Birthday 02

This cutaway card has lots of metal and textural elements and I've adorned it with 3/8" wide double faced satin in brown and turquoise. I tied the double bow with my faithful Zutter Bow-it-All and topped that scrumptious ribbon with a painted metal flower.

Steampunk Birthday 03

This card is all about layers...and surprises. Here's the inside:

Steampunk Birthday 05

I used a ton of the images from Steampunk Debutante inside the card.
There's also a pocket for a tag, and room to tuck in a gift card.

Steampunk Birthday 07

I embellished my tag with Natural Jute String. I just love the texture that this adds to a project.

That's it for me today, friends! I hope you found some new ways to play with ribbon, and that your day makes you happy right down to the tips of your crafty little fingers!

Cheerio,

kathy

Your smile is planted in my heart...

Howdy!   Cherry here to share a card today. I have had this sweet image from Crafty Secrets sitting on my desk and finally decided to use it.  I used my favorite reds and garden greens for the main colors.   I used red lipstick seam binding for my red bow and the lace from this month's ribbon club assortment as a border along the bottom half.  Hope you enjoy!  cherry
