Wishing You Peace at Christmas

Hello, crafty friends!  It's your friend, Karen.  Thanks for stopping by today to visit and to take a quick peek at this FUN card I created for Really Reasonable Ribbon using just a few of their (many) awesome products.  Adding ribbons and trims to my cards is always fun because it gives our cards texture, dimension, color and personality.  Like all of the amazing products at Really Reasonable Ribbon, these few quick goodies made my very simple card special.
This beautiful sentiment is from Bonnie Garby Designs.  You will always find the most amazing sentiments at Bonnie Garby Designs because she creates her sentiments with real people, like you and me, in mind.  Knowing that we all go through difficult times, she created this very special Christmas set called Christmas Greetings for Difficult Times Digital Stamp Set to wish others a Merry Christmas while also encouraging them if they've had a difficult year.  I know exactly to whom I'll be sending this special Christmas card.
I used a cranberry cardstock layered with Crate Paper Bundled Up patterned papers, and I cut them using the Crimped Frame Dies from The Greetery.  The top layer is basic white cardstock that I stencilled using the Delightfully Delicate Stencil from Creative Worship Stamps.  Next came the FUN part, which is adorning my card with some lovely trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I used Light Pink & White Gingham Ribbon, a length of Solid Pink Baker's Twine and I tucked in several pretty Double Head Stamens.
Double Head Stamens come in so many great colors and styles, and they add such a cool texture to cards.  I topped the chipboard piece and the bow with some lovely 12mm White Flatback Faux Pearls from the Embellishments Section at RRR.  Lots of wonderful Scor-Tape holds everything securely in place, and I know it will hold everything right where I've placed it all.  Be sure to check the RRR Blog often for sales and promotions as well as lots of great inspiration.  Thanks so much for visiting today, and please stop by again soon.

Blessings,
