Welcome by today, everyone, and thanks for visiting us. It's always a treat to have you stop by the RRR blog. Today it's Karen, and I'm sharing a sweet card that was inspired by my super talented friend, Esther of Shoregirls Creations. When I saw her super sweet no-line card, I think my jaw hit the floor. While I knew I could never recreate anything even close to what Esther had created, I did know that I wanted to at least take a whack at it. And of course, I knew that Really Reasonable Ribbon would help me give it some special touches.
My card also includes a bit more of the (bundled) Natural Burlap String and a Moss Green Open Rose. I added a small hang tag onto which I stamped the word JOY, and it's hung from a Pear- Shaped Rusty Paperclip from our Embellishment Section.the images and dirtied the edges using Black Soot, Hickory Smoke and Burlap Tim Holtz Oxide Inks.
The finishing touches to my card are all from Really Reasonable Ribbon and they include the Natural Burlap String that I wrapped under and around the bird/flowers, as well as the bow I tied at the bottom. The bow was created using some Peach Seam Binding that I cut into narrow strips and tied into a bow.
You can always find lots of great ribbons, laces, trims and twines at Really Reasonable Ribbon among many other wonderful things. They carry Adhesives, Hair Accessories, Embellishments, Mulberry Flowers and SO much more. OH.....and don't forget to join us on the 13th for our AWESOME Blog Hop where you'll have a chance to win our beautiful Ribbon Club Assortment. Have a blessed and creative week, everyone.
Blessings,
Karen
