Take Me Out to the Ball Game

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Do you struggle with using ribbon on your masculine cards?  Today I have a really fun baseball themed masculine birthday card...with ribbon!

Ribbon choice is super important when you're making a masculine card.  I look for ribbons in shades of navy, brown, dark green, tan or black.  I also look for textures that have a more rugged feel.

This Navy Blue Canvas Color Band Ribbon with Stitched Edges rounds all the bases. The combination of color, texture and simple pattern make it a home run.  I love the fact that the stitching on the edges echoes the seams on a baseball. Topping that double loop bow with some natural burlap string adds even more texture.

The inside of the card continues with the baseball theme.   It's the perfect card for our baseball loving son's birthday.
